The FoodI ordered the usual bak kut teh, pig trotters and preserved vegetables. The soup stock almost tasted like some garlic soup with mashed up soggy garlic and garlic skin swimming around the soup and did not like the soup. The ribs were not very soft nor very tender and did not detached easily. It was cooked alright but the meat slightly tough and have to bite quite hard to eat the meat. The PriceReasonably priced at $12++ for the whole billOverallI will not come back again and don't recommended to try this! 繼續閱讀

Everytime I pass by singapore fly on skates (yea we skate there during our cca urban), I will usually order the bak kut teh from this store, called the Sin Ming Road Rong Chen Bak Kut Teh at the Singapore Food Trail. The pig trotter given was very generously covered in thick skin and huge sinful layer of fats! Haha if you manage to finish it, be prepared to run a few more rounds. The soup goes for the pepper-rish feel more or herbal taste, I guess that's what they usually have in singapore. Able to refill the soup, and it tasted pretty good! One of the best stall at Singapore fool trail. Hui Yanhttp://chiamhuiy.blogspot.sg 繼續閱讀

This stall has received several food awards so I have decided to give it a try to see how good and tasty their bak ku teh is. However to my little disappointment, they soup base is not really that flavourable and abit bland to me. The pork ribs are quite tender and juicy and is very meaty. The presentation was really simply and does not really attract my attention other than those previous food awards presented to this stall. 繼續閱讀

Another popular stall at the Singapore Food Trail is Sin Ming Road Rong Chen Bak Kut Teh was pretty good. The Bak Kut Teh here is Teochew style that has clear soup and peppery soup. A bowl of Bak Kut Teh costs $5 and comes with 3 pieces of pork rib what are rather huge. The meats were tender and falls off the bone with ease. The soup was peppery but not overpowering. You can also order sides such as youtiao. 繼續閱讀

Went to the Singapore flyer for some errands and decided to have my lunch there as there were alot of people having food there. Decided on Bak Kut Teh as it has been a long time since i had this and i had a cupon offer with me. What shocked me was the price of the Dang Ou soup costs $3 per bowl and the normal price of a Bak Kut Teh Set (Soup + rice) will cost $5.80. With regards to the taste, the Dang Ou vegetables soup is much milder and not so spicy when compared with the Bak Kut Teh soup. The vegetables seems to have been cooked a little too long and the freshness of the vegetables isn't there. As for the Bak Kut Teh, there were only 2 medium sized pieces of meat and there were still dried blood in it which irked me. I would have prefered if the soup had a stronger pepery taste to it but the taste of the clove of garlic was just nice. The cut chilies with black sauce did go very well with the meat and it wasn't too overpowering. 繼續閱讀
