Chicken was cooked perfectly - tender, meaty and not too oily. Chicken had an addictive and mouthwatering natural chicken oil aroma as it was not cooked in any sauce. My only complaint however was that it was not served hot.Rice was simple and nothing too savoury which complements well with the chicken even without any sauce. I liked the fact that the chicken rice came with 3 sauces separate from dish - ginger, chilli sauce and black soy sauce.Staff can be rude when busy, ignoring and rushing us to make decision or to grab the sauces ourselves. Food was served very fast. 繼續閱讀

There's usually a line of queue, but you do not have to wait too long for your chicken rice.During my last visit there, the one thing that draws me is neither the rice, nor chicken but the ginger sauce. The chicken is juicy and tender enough, evenly cut and placed on top of a layer of cucumber soaked in salty chicken oil. However, there is no soup being served. The rice taste totally different from other stalls. But I quite like it! The thing that really got me was the fragrance of the special sauce that they sprinkle over the chicken meat.Kindly take note that Sin Kee Famous Chicken Rice shifted to the following address since June 2010:Block 38 Commonwealth Avenue#01-02Singapore 149738.After writing this review, I feel like going to eat with my friend this evening.Overall, I rated Sin Kee as the best chicken rice in Singapore. In fact, this is quite a well known chicken rice stall situated on the second floor of the Margaret Drive Food Centre (Existing place). 繼續閱讀

This is another good chicken rice stall to be recommended. The owner was originally from Margaret Drive before moved to the current location, other stall at Margaret Drive was taken over by a relative. And, i have been following them since then. This is one of the stalls that i happened to love the chicken, rice and chili. Most of their chickens are rather fat but the juiciness and tenderness are still in tact. My personal favourite has been the white steamed chicken rather than the roasted one, i love to dip the chicken meat in the thick soya sauce then add a little chili then a mouthful of rice. But, i never like the ginger sauce, not only from this stall but from every chicken rice stall. I detest the taste of ginger very much. I have a good friend that kept telling me how nice the ginger sauce is when eating with chicken, but i refused to even try it.Strange, but thats me. 繼續閱讀

There are two chicken rice stalls in Singapore with the same name. Both are called Sin Kee Famous Chicken Rice. This one claims to be the original. The 6 of us had 1 whole chicken. The chicken was huge and plump. The chicken was nice and firm. One of the better chicken rice around. The chicken is not drenched with lots of sauce. The sauce is more like a little soy sauce with chicken stock. This is for those who prefer not to have lots of sauce on their chicken. The rice is fragrant but not oily. The vegetable side dish we had was stir fried nai bai. Crunchy vegetables, quickly stir fried with oyster sauce. Overall, it feels very healthy without too much oil and sauce. The chilli here is good. Goes well with the chicken. We realised we were not served any soup. Not sure if they serve them. 繼續閱讀
