I was there in the neighbourhood to view a shop when I came across this food stall as it was evening time and was just about to have dinner, i went to order a plate of Char Kway Teow (CKT) as it had been a long time since I ate it. Then the boss also recommended me his Fried Oyster and being a fan of it, I ordered both and went to find a seat to wait for the dishes to come. So about 5 mins, my CKT came first, even before I took my first bite, the aroma of the CKT was overwhelming my nose and when I ate my first mouthful, I knew at once that I found my favourite CKT. Why? Firstly, the CKT is fried not too wet and not too dry, I could easily picked it up with my chopsticks. Secondly, the control of fire in this plate of CKT was fabulous and every mouthful was fried evenly. Next, the cockles were larger than what I have eaten from other stalls and are fresh when they were sent into my mouth. Finally, the CKT was not oily so you will not feel tired and bored eating it again.After a few mouthfuls, the fried oyster arrived and to my first sight, I noticed that the oysters were enormous and same too the aroma of the fried oyster was overwhelming my nose too. So I picked up the flour and egg and had my first bite and "WOW"! The flour and eggs were fried to perfection, the flour was not soggy or too hard, it was crispy and same too the control of fire by the chef was controlled to perfection and oysters were fresh too. I also dipped the fried oysters in the chilli and even best, it took the fried oyster to another higher level. I finished both plates of food and felt a very happy and satisfied man and I can say that this 2 dishes are really "THE ONEs". Really highly recommended to go and eat and it is also worth to patronise again and again. THUMBS UP!

The kway teow and mee texture is perfect, not too wet or too dry, fragrant smell and tasty. The moment you have your first bite, you will have the feel of finishing the whole plate... not greasy... is worth a try! Another popular dish is the Fried Oyster. The fried egg portion is crispy, the flour is Q and soft and the most attractive part is the big, fresh oysters, they are very enjoyable!
