This is a good place for supper if you can find seats. Despite having seats on two stories and in the alley, the place is still bustling with people. Ordered few pieces of you tiao and beancurd and a cup of soya bean milk. The beancurd is not really good as I've tried better ones before. The soya bean milk was good, especially in a warm weather. The soya bean milk and the beancurd wasn't too sweet either. Each costs $1, which is considered cheap in the city! The you tiao also costs $1 per piece but it tastes so good that you won't mind eating more!!

As we were around the vincinity, we dropped by to try out the beancurd here. It is my second time visiting rochor beancurd. Ordered the bean curd and also the soya milk drink and one you tiao. I love the you tiao the most because it is so crispy, although it is not hot anymore but it still retains its crispiness and also it is not very oily too. I was not really impressed with the bean curd, maybe because i am too used to eating the lao ban beancurd recently and has grown to prefer the lao ban k

My friend and I ordered a you tiao and it was rather crispy and expanded-looking. I tried eating it with the cold beancurd andthey did not go well together. Normally people would dip it into hot soya bean milk so that it would not feel so dry. We both had the cold beancurd as that day the weather was rather humid and hot. It was soft and silky and it went down our throat easily. Not a perfect dessert if you wanted to take your own sweet time. I noticed that the syrup used was orangy in colour (w

A good supper place in town. Beancurd, Soya bean drink and you tiao are the best combination to have a light supper here. The best way to eat the you tiao is to dip it into the beancurd and let the you tiao soaked up the sweetness of the syrup and eat it. The soya bean drink is quite thick and tasted not too sweet just right for a healthy reason. I was here countless times and would be keep coming back.

I have oversea friends in town, and they ask for nice local dessert. Therefore, I introduce this famous Rochor Beancurd; I believe that it can represent our local desserts. The shop is along Short Street. I have not been there for quite same time. Although the beancurd is in soft silky white, but the taste is not as good as before. I went with ming my friend to play pool at Pomo's which is quite cheap. After that i drag her to the nearby Rochor Beancurd which i ever visited once with a friend for supper. I think it was around 4 plus at that time so wan't much people. Since we're at Rochor Beancurd, we must try the tao huey!!! Ming got a hot one while i chose the cold one for this scorching weather I think the difference is only $0.10 with the cold one being slight more expensive. However i think mine's ok but not super n

Her's was warm and soft. Mine's just not as nice as hers but i welcome the coldness anyway since i'm hot!!! Would recommend to drop by to have Beancurd if you're near the area!

I like bean curd that are smooth and silky, and easy to swollow. Some bean curd have the bean texture, and quite rough which i do not like the taste. The bean curd at rochor beancurd was good. Smooth, silky, and their syrup was not too sweet, goes very well together. You can either have it cold or warm. They do have other fried finger food like their you tiao. Can try dipping the you tiao with their soya bean drink. Good.

Their cold beancurd was only $1.20 and i think it is one of the nicest original beancurd in Singapore. The texture of the beancurd was soft yet thick, and the sweet soup that accompanied was just the right amount. Their you tiao was like the usual ones. Their place has limited seats so if you were to go with a large group of friends, you have to wait for some time.

After going to PSS, drop by to have dinner at selegie road, the dinner wasn’t that fantastic, therefore to satisfy my appetite, I will go to the next door selegie road bean curd, the hot bean curd is always the best selling, I choose the cold one, cold bean curd is abit hard and not as tender as the hot ones, but it is still very nice, not too sweet too. Bought a butterfly fritter too. It is a nice supper or snack place at night.

Rochor beancurd is one of my traditional bean curd favourite. It is smooth and silky. Most importantly, the bean curd isn't too sweet, which is the problem with many traditional bean curds that i eat from markets. Another good point is that such traditional bean curds tend to have this rather sandy texture, which is absent from Rochor bean curd. Certainly one of the best traditional bean curd in Singapore!

When your hunger strikes between classes, my go to would be this curry puff by Rochor Beancurd. Filled with lots of carbs and fillings of potato and curry, this one buck deal is so much better than a mere hollow you tiao! This curry puff is actually pretty spicey too, and the braided top is thick and crunchy, just the way I like it.

Went over to the neighbour despite the crowd as my friends wanted to compare the do hua between Rochor Beancurd and Min Beancurd. Their comment was that they taste similar somehow. Yet again, I could not tahan, I also ordered something….getting fat leh…Anyway, the you tiao is very nice and not very very oily. Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.

We're living across the street from this shop and decided to try the sweet beancurd. It was so sweet that we had to wash our mouths out with water! And why does it come in plastic containers?? We're not taking away!Definitely a shop that will get a "one-time only" business from us. No repeats here. If you're a super sweet tooth, maybe this is for you, but be warned. It's like drinking liquid sugar mixed with honey. Service is pretty rude too. Another over hyped place. It's very hard to find seat

The tart does not really appeal from the appearance as they looked very dry on the egg surface. The taste of the tart is of reasonable quality but I think it is still some way away from those in Macau.

Rochor Beancurd sells really good beancurd! I would always think of this place when I am craving for beancurd. Their beancurd is so smooth and silky! It is also not too sweet, but you can request for more sugar syrup from the uncle very good beancurd. Served pipping hot or cold, whichever you prefer.
