Was on the way to Sengkang and dropped by Compass One. Visited Canton paradise at 2nd level. It was quiet and no require queuing. We ordered vary Tim Sum for our lunch. Being the first dim-sum restaurant in Compass Point, Canton Paradise has attracted many patrons since its opening.FOODThe prawn wrapped in the prawn dumpling is quite fresh. It is dinner time again and I was at Compass point shopping for X'mas presents. I decided to order a noodle dish to try since I've been only eating mostly dim sum type dishes at Canton Paradise.Char siew noodle (Dry) $7.30++They served a generous portion of char siew meat and green veggies with their noodles. Liu sha bao - salted egg yolk custard bunI love this! This may not be the best liu sha bao but it certainly was able to satisfy my cravings as the liu sha's taste was rich enough and did not lack flavour. Yam puff, siew mai, fried beancurd skin prawn roll, carrot cakeThe deep fried stuffs were so delicious too even though they were a tad oily. Their siew mais tasted average though. Their yam puffs were very crisp at the exterior and soft and moist on the inside. The carrot cake tasted ordinary.

One of my favourite Liu sha baos can be found right here at Canton Paradise. While it is a little on the pricey side, it is really yummy and makes a good dim sum feast. For all the salted egg lovers, this is a definite MUST TRY! The inside is buttery and the taste of the salted egg is just nice. Not too strong. One basket costs around $1.60.

Craving dimsum & the xiao long bao, near compass point, first time trying at canton paradise. As I stayed in the extreme Northeast area, Compass Point has been one of my favorite food hunt locations. Being a Paradise group member, I always picked Canton Paradise over the other Chinese restaurants due to the 10% rewards I get every time I spent on food there. I had craving for roast duck so today I ordered Canton Paradise's roast duck and meatball porridge takeaway for dinner.Roast duck 烧鸭 $12.80++This is quite good. The duck has thick flesh, very meaty. My Paradise group membership is due for renewal. There's a takeaway counter at the entrance of this Canton Paradise in Compasspoint. Everytime I walk past I'd be tempted by this delicious crispy-looking char siew bao staring back at me.I can't help but compare this char siew bao with that of Tim Ho Wan's, with the recent hype of their award-winning char siew bao which is part of their four-heavenly kings, due to the similarity in looks and the pastry skin. I love the roast meat at Canton Paradise, so far I have tried their yum yum char siew and roast duck. Now its time to order the roast pork belly. Hmm a bit disappointed with the roast pork cos the fatty part is too thick and lean meat is very little thus making it very oily to eat. The char siew also not up to standard as compared to previous visit. However the Yang Chow fired rice did not disappoint and the tofu with prawn roe tasted alright. Newly opened in Compass Point, this branch is always crowded with long queue. Canton paradise opened at Compass Point early this year but I only recently went to try it. I ordered the liu sha bao which is widely heard to be really delicious but I hadn't tried it before too. SO it really surprised me when I bit into the warm center of this bao and the liquid insides flowed into my mouth, tasting strongly of salted egg. It was a weird sensation but the taste was awesome!
