Recently, when I went to Clementi to do some shopping, I spent the whole afternoon there, and roaming around the place made me so hungry during lunch time, that I decided to look around for some food options and managed to find Xin Ye Mixed Veg & porridge. They have loads of cooked veg,meats & fish dishes on display and you can choose anything you want. I chose 2 meats & a veg with some rice & curry. The meats were really tasty. Some pretty decent food at a decent price. I like how this stall actually states the amount of the dishes instead of those that don’t as their price differs to their mood even though the exact same dishes are ordered.The bean sprout were fresh and crunchy, so as their cabbage.…查看更多

Had my usual dinner takeaway from Xin Ye Mixed Vegetable Rice/Porridge. It is cheap and good. And its very conveniently located for residents. They sell a wide variety of vegetables, meat, fish and others. I especially like their sweet and sour pork. Very nicely marinated to give it a very flavourful taste. Yummy yummy!…查看更多

An array of interesting and beautiful dishes, so it's hard to decide what to eat. Chose 2 types of vegetable - spinach , cabbage ( wong ah bak) and a chicken meat with dark soya sauce gravy cooked with fungus. The black fungus was real good, crispy and chewy. Take a look at the picture. Tempting, right? :)This was one of the most delicious mixed vegetable rice that i ever tasted. I paid $5.40 for a piece of fish, sweet and sour pork and fried cabbages. Simple but full nutrition and well balanced with a combo of fish, pork and vegetable. If i gotta choose which is my favourite dish then i would be in a dilemma, all were nice so yeah, it is rather difficult to choose. The fish was well fried and meaty with nicely fried cabbage, sweet and sour pork tasted good too. If you like mixed vegetable rice too then you should give this a try. Recommended. …查看更多
