這次到訪新加坡數天，我們選了懷舊翻新的金陵酒店，就在前往MRT時，就一定路經這街坊食店「正文志記食豬什湯」，因為看到不少街坊光顧，所以，投其信心一票，嚐嚐味道如何。由於都是街坊小攤檔，環境自然不會有太多要求，但勝在地方整潔。作為小試牛刀，我們只點了招牌的豬什湯，果然如招牌所言，真材實料，湯內材料豐富，有肉片、肉丸、豬肝、豬腸……等等，一點豬燥味也沒有，沾一丁點辣醬已很好吃，湯頭香濃順喉，只是幾塊錢，真是超值啊！

A lazy Sunday afternoon prompted us to explore somewhere new and we decided to head over to Jalan Bedar for lunch before doing a little cafe hopping. Another dish worth mentioning and I never fail to order is their Pig's Trotters in Vinegar. It brings back fond memories of my grandmother’s specialty dish. There is a well-balanced taste between the sweetness and sourness of broth. The Pig's Trotters are cooked perfectly, QQ skin and tender meat. If you are health conscious, you may also specify a preference for leaner meat for the Pig's Trotters. They are usually accommodating.

Cheng Mun Chee Kee Pig’s Organ Soup is one of my favorite comfort food in Singapore. Walk towards the order station, state your order, indicate your table number and wait for your orders to be served. They have recently opened up another area for dining hence there are plentiful of space. For $3.70, you will get a piping hot soup filled with pig’s organ. It is pepper and yet not overly salty. Best of all, you can refill your soup when it is running low!

This Cheng Mun Chee Kee Pig Organ Soup has since expanded to 2 units with a more spacious seating just next door shop house. This bowl of pig organ soup here is really big in portion and filling. Most importantly, the taste of it is equally good as well. Inside the soup is filled with many slices of pork meat, pork livers, pig stomach, mini pig intestines and slices of crunchy salted vegetables. With the right amount of saltiness, the salted vegetable tastes tasteless; soaked into the soup, the dish brings smiles to many eating there. Lean meat is tender, liver is cooked to the right degree and the proportion of salted vegetables is just right to add into the fragrance and enhance the taste of the soup broth. Their soup base is not too peppery and its easy going and light on your palate. My family had dinner at Cheng Mun Chee Kee Pig Organ Soup. I didnt like it at all! The thought of consuming pig organs just freaked me out instantly. However, I tried abit of the soup, it was not bad. I just ate tofu and tau pok, and the tau pok was very tasty! Throughout the dinner, I didnt even touch the pig organs. Haha

Had myself a Pig Organ Pork Ball Soup. The store's business seems to be rather quiet except on weekends. You can always find seats available so no need to fret for those who are easily put off by having no available seats.Smooth flavourful soup, generous ingredients, good service. What's more to ask for? Probably a cooler weather to enjoy the meal without breaking a sweat?

This place is a rather famous for their Pig Organ Soup and is near the Lavender Food Square Centre. It's a bit inaccessible unless one drives. They are opened from 9am till 5am so you can have it at any time of the day or night whenever you have the craving for it. I liked their soup the most. Once I stepped out of my car, I can smell the fragrance of the famous pig organ soup. As usual, dinner time, and the stall was buzzing away taking order. I ordered my share and tucked in the clear soup with rice. The wonder of the soup is the soup base itself, it's thick and not too salty as some pig organ soup does.
