One of the best beef noodle in Singapore found here. This stall is more than 40 years old and there is always a constant queue right in front of this stall. I prefer the dry version to the soup one. I really enjoy the groovy sauce with only the tender beef slices. Though i heard the stewed beef tendons are pretty good too but i am quite reluctant to try as i am not too interested in the internal parts. The salted vegetable served along with the beef noodle is a good enhancement to the taste and

The salted vegetable served along with the beef noodle is a good enhancement to the taste and texture.

I am not impressed with their beef balls but the soup was one of the best that i have ever tried. It was pretty robust with a nice but not overpowering beefy taste.

Highly recommended.

The beef noodle at Hai Nan Xing Zhou is definitely one of the best. I personally think it's better than Hock Lam beef noodle. Their beef noodle ( dried) have more depth in taste. Meat of the beef is cooked just nice and the salty vegetable and lime they provide simply enhance the flavour of the beef noodle. Not to forget their specially made chilli sauce too!

Went there at about 1+pm on a weekday and there was a long queue. We waited patiently in line for about 20 minutes and just as we inched nearer to the stall front, the stall uncle announced that only the soup version is left! So we tried the soup version although some of us really really wanted to try the dry ones. I had the mixed parts and it came with generous amount of ingredients. Beef balls, tripe, and beef slices, topped with chopped preserved vegetables. The beef slices were good. Tender

So we tried the soup version although some of us really really wanted to try the dry ones. I had the mixed parts and it came with generous amount of ingredients. Beef balls, tripe, and beef slices, topped with chopped preserved vegetables. The beef slices were good. Tender but still has a certain thickness to it. The soup was tasty and has robust flavours.

The stall uncles were friendly and unfazed by the long queues of hungry customers. And because the food is good, one doesn't really mind waiting. Or go there earlier, to avoid disappointment.
