The FoodThis stall at Golden Mile Food Centre is one of my favourite stalls that served noodles in dry version which I liked it very much compared to the wet version as the yellow mee and thin bee hoon have fully absorbed all the prawn essence stock !Since the small plate is not enough for my stomach, I ordered the big plate Fried Hokkien mee served with fresh small prawns, sotong and thin slices of roast pork. The noodles are springy even though is dry and is served with 2 chillies, sambal chilli and cut chilli padi. The PriceReasonably priced at $4.00 per plate (Extra Noodles)OverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this for all Hokkien Prawn Mee dry version! 繼續閱讀

Hainan fried Hokkien Prawn Mee? It sounds unusual to me but it had been raved among others. So let us check out how a Hainan Man has changed the destiny of an usual plate of Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee into. The plate of Hainan Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee has a slight tweak as compared to the usual Hokkien Fried Prawn Mee. There is a distinctive use of thinner bee hoon rather than the usual thick bee hoon.Though it looked very dry and was not that appetizing initially, I was all wrong. The first mouthful had been very impressive , giving me the "wow" factor. Prawn stock had amplified the taste in which every strand of noodles had absorbed it well. Together, it strike a good balance in the wetness, and its neither dry nor wet. Additionally, a strong wok-hei from both noodle and bee hoon had given an oomph in the dish!In conclusion, it is one of the best hokkien prawn mee that I have eaten. However towards the end of the meal, it find it a little bit dry.For more reviews, visit www.umakemehungry.com 繼續閱讀

Read more reviews at http://thehungrybunnie.blogspot.comThe prawn stock used to imbue the rice noodles with flavour is awesome. Every mouthful is a burst of flavoursome shrimp stock. There's a slight hint of wok hei to this, so the robust shrimp taste is finished off with a rounded smoky essence. It's obvious why the Hokkien Mee ($3) here is very popular, as evidenced by the long queues. 繼續閱讀

There it is: The famed hokkien prawn mee that everybody praised about...人气第二!! When I first got a look at it, I never thought that it would be this dry...Seriously, it's almost as if there's no gravy...I had always like the wetter hokkien prawn mee version...BUT, this hokkien prawn mee did not fail to impress me...It's very fragrant even though there's almost no gravy...All the gravy had most probably been absorbed by the mee and thus eluding the incredible fragrance. Oh, and there's only two tiny prawns and two slices of sotong...Definitely recommended...Mainly because I'm a fan of hokkien prawn regardless whichever version...If you are a fan of the wetter version, do still try it... 繼續閱讀

The Food!!This is one of my favourite stalls when I want to eat hokkien mee. I like it so much because this hokkien mee stall actually use beehoon in their hokkien mee. It is not the usual wet hokkien mee. I like it when my hokkien mee is served dry. Hard to find dry hokkien mee so I love this stall a lot. However, serving size of my hokkien mee was quite small though.. Overall, NICE. 繼續閱讀
