Stated "Since 1970" (which I highly doubt it), Kai and Randall decided to make a career switch from sales to roast! Perhaps knowing the power of focus, Roast Paradise specializes only on Char Siew and Roasted Pork. That's right, no roasted duck, chicken nor braised eggs, only Pork. #soshiokporkIt's been awhile since their opening in August 2015 and business has increased steadily according to Randall.Unlike the typical roast stall with racks of meat dripping with gravy, Roast Paradise is rather 'clean' and the meat are nicely racked in standard portions. Apart from the normal individual order, additional portions comes in 100 grams, 200 grams and etc. as a form of standardization.The part used for Char Siew is definitely unlike the regular cut. Wanted to ask Randall about it, but he was busy entertaining the lunch crowd and it eventually slipped my mind too. Translucent fat, deeply marinated meat, caramelized crispy outside with charred edges.Verdict: 3.5/5 for taste and 5/5 for presentation. Fatty Cheong and Nan Xiang are still my to-go places for Roast Meat! 繼續閱讀
