Been hanging out a lot at Junction 8 recently but there's always somewhere good to get some good food! The Chocolate with Nata de Coco ($4.20) shaved iced from Dessert Story is a great dessert to have other you had your hearty meal from elsewhere! Saw the staff shaving the frozen chocolate ice and it was an amazing sight. The nata de coco complements the chocolate flavour well but I would love it more if it were other fruits or something. But nevertheless! This place is always great for dessert!

Desirable design and more choices invented, there was no harm to have more dessert varieties for choosy customers like me. These kind of traditional desserts were originated from Hong Kong I guessed. Hot Dessert and Snow Ice were equally great, I tried both. Nourishing hot soup was $2.80 and Milky Snow Ice was $4.20. Ice temperature was just perfect, beautiful shot as not too cold to sting my sensitive teeth. No doubt seats were available, but the place was packed. It was not the good location f

I was looking for some dessert and settled on the rather average but safe choice - Dessert Story. I decided on the mixed dumplings in peanut soup; the sesame filling of the glutinous rice balls was good, and the skin of the rice balls not too thick. The peanut soup was also not too bad and not overly sweet. For around $3 per bowl, this is reasonably priced and a good dessert to have when you are craving for something sweet.

Nowadays when you want to find a place for desserts, there are lots of choices like Honeymoon Dessert, etc. Dessert Story is another one which i usually quite like to go due to it's convenient location. Mostly i go for the black sesame paste but for this particular visit, i was craving for something cold! Mango pudding seems to be the best choice and this one, i opt for without condensed milk. Just want it to be really refreshing and fruity. It's pretty good except just a bit on the sour side! S

Peanut paste , sesame paste - I tried them all . I love the peanut paste but the portion is a little bit too small . But think of the bright side - you can actually save some calories and limit your sugar/dessert intake. The peanut paste is really quite thick and flavorful . It is also not too sweet so it can be eaten by people who don't like sugary desserts as well . You could go for a alternative as well - the one with glutinuous rice ball in it. It's quite chewy and soft .

I could taste the black sesame which is really fragrant. It is not too sweet but however it will be better if it is pure black sesame. I tried to ask it prepared without sugar but they claimed it i pre-made and everything has been mixed into it. Felt disappointed but luckily the amount of sugar is not too much which will alter the taste of black sesame. .Yogurt ice? DISAPPOINTED. The aloe vera is quite few.I'm a big aloe vera's lover,so i not very happy with it. >"<But this is really nice.IT is abit warm with the soup.The soup is abit like wintermelon taste.It is nice for those who have fever.Because it has abit sweet taste,it also acts as appertiser.The "bai er" is also nice.Soft and smooth.I can finish it within 1 min,it is really small in bowl.I hope it will be larger as it's price is quite expensive.

Dessert StoryStill not satisfied after eating the main course, proceed to dessert story to have some desserts. There are cold n hot desserts to be choosen as well as small snacks like yam cake, carrot cake, Siew Mai, Haw gao and etc. After ordered, there are seats and tables provided for customers to dine in. i ordered the chocolate ice shaved while my friend ordered the almond paste. i hate almond paste a lot but my friend said its nice. the chocolate ice is not bad, the ice shave is fine.

get to hang up with friends and we ended up eating dessert one day. The desserts at Dessert Story is nice, the standard is there but not impressive.I'd like to have their Chinese style of dessert, like the white fungus sweet soup with longan.My friend ordered their strawberry ice cream which is so-soand we both share a plate of dimsum, which is yam cake, white carrot cake and pumpkin cake.

Passing by Dessert Story, I decided to try their desserts as they look delicious. I bought the milk pudding which costs $3.20. The milk pudding is really smooth and I could taste the milk taste. It was not sweet either, just right on the taste buds. I really enjoyed the dessert and will be back to try others.

this is the milo snow ice from dessert story. it was my first time to try this flavour. my friend who brought me ordered this. it was surprisely nice! however, i am not very addicted towards it! but overall it is still quite nice and i love the chocolate flavour and milo powder topping! Kids will love it

Sorry for the ugly photo.I mix many dessert together.Mango Pamelo with sago,durian snow ice and mango snow ice.I like these desserts so much.Although they are sweet, but i wont feel greasy.The snow ice is really soft and it melts after i out in mouth。I like the sago one.Because the sago make it taste nicer,more smooth and soft.The durian one is also nice.They put the real durian.I like it.It is nice..!

Had awesome dessert after dinner! Tried the green tea snow shaved ice topped with red bean. It was so good! I had alot of fun watching how they made the shaved ice. It was ice yet it looked so beautifully coloured and delicately shaved into pieces to make a nice and irresistible bowl of dessert. Thumbs up!

I love desserts but not so much of Chinese desserts actually, I'm still okay with them though.Since my cousin was in Singapore, I decided to bring him to try some. I ordered the steamed milk to share with him, I have heard good reviews about steamed milk in general.It was my first time trying it. Well, not a bad experience, basically it is like bean curd but in a much milkier version, in a complete piece and has a heavy egg white smell. I had the cold steamed milk.

I will not recommend this place for dessert as it is way too pricy for the portion they serve. The dessert tastes average. They do not have wide variety to choose from as well. If you want a place which offers a large variety of dessert, you should not visit this place.
