Bee Cheng Hiang is one of the well known brands in bak kwa in Singapore. It has over 262 outlets across 9 countries. Today I received a box of the barbecued meat from vendor. It is wrapped in waxed paper and packed into bright gold paper bag. The barbecued meat looks a dull in colour. It tastes a bit dry and not as sweet as expect. My wife was a "bak gua" Lover and I bought 200 grams of "bak gua" for my wife as her tibits at night. I tried a piece and felt a little digusted as the "bak gua" was oily and was not the same tender feel that I had tried from other outlet. I look at the rest of the "bak gua" in the packaging and I realise there are a few look over cooked (chao da) . What a disappointment for my wife favourite tibits ,eventually I had to promise her to get another packet for her the next day from another outlet :(…查看更多
