Bee Cheng Hiang's bakkwa boasts the highest quality of meat hand weaved using a traditional bamboo sieve. It is smothered slowly for hours over live coals in our secret recipe. The smoking process seals in a flow of sweet and savoury marinate that infuses delectable moisture into every piece of meat.

Sometimes when I am craving of having some bak kwa for snacks, I will definitely buy the minced pork bak kwa from this outlet. The service here is friendly and approachable. All bak kwa are freshly barberqued daily so the freshest bak kwa are served to us. The minced pork flavour is my favourite as it is very soft and chewy and really easy to eat. Very fragrant with the barberqued sauce during every bites of it. Have it on its own or with noodles or bread are equally delicious.

I love bbq pork and I am so glad that I can get it year-round!Bee Cheng Hiang is abit over-priced and awhile ago there was news that they sold burnt pieces of meat to customers who were peeved since it's sold by weight and they paid for burnt stuff.I agree that the bbq pork here is always burnt. Not sure why?? Also, it is very red and very oily. Not sure what they did to make it so super red and also why does it have to be so oily? But it is generally addictive.It's very convenient as it's in Bugis, next to the bus-stop and across the road from the mall. And it is always open when I walk past it no matter the time of day! After getting this, head over to Koi and line up while you chew on this bbq pork.It's tasty enough and the balance of the seasoning is good. But I prefer other better brands if I have a choice.Bee Cheng Hiang seems very commercialised and the standard is not really as good as other places i've tried. Also, the meat doesn't taste as fresh. And it seems to be made with minced meat rather than whole slices of meat. i prefer whole slices of meat. But because Bee Cheng Hiang is everywhere, it is very convenient to locate one to satisfy my bbq pork cravings.It is not cheaper than other places, but the quality is lower than other places. Recommended for convenience. Service is VERY pushy, as is with all Bee Cheng Hiangs.
