Bee Cheng Hiang's bakkwa boasts the highest quality of meat hand weaved using a traditional bamboo sieve. It is smothered slowly for hours over live coals in our secret recipe. The smoking process seals in a flow of sweet and savoury marinate that infuses delectable moisture into every piece of meat.
The bakkwa is then barbecued over a glowing fire until it spatters and caramelize the tender meat in the all right place. Hot grill combined with dripping meat juice releases a sweet barbecue aroma to the already succulent meat meld together to deliver the authentic Bee Cheng Hiang Bakkwa.

not a fan of the bak kwa here. received as gift. not sure of the price. around $3.50 for a piece, depending on weight. the bak kwa here has a lot of charred bits, which makes it horribly bitter. if you avoid all the charred bits, you will be left with very little bak kwa to chew on. the taste is not very fragrant or good. very sickeningly oily as well. the meat is also very tough. not really to my liking at all.

Other than their BBQ meat, this is also another must try item from Bee Cheng Hiang. One of my aunt brought this to one of the gathering , and since then I fall in love with this snack. It come it 2 favour -original and Wasabi. I think most people also like wasabi just like I do, only 2 packets of wasabi were left when I make the purchase. So if you are same as me, you need to learn to grab it!
