This is our favourite place. Always come here for dim sum on weekends. Like the Shrimp dumpling, siew mai, xiao long bao, custard bun and the char siew bao best.  The xiao long bao's skin is very thin and the juicy minced pork meat is very sweet and chewy. Whenever I go have dimsum, it is a must to have Ha Gao. This is the Steamed Shrimp Dumpling ($4.80). Nowadays, most ha gao are likely have hardened skin filled with mediocre-tasting shrimp. First time dining at Crystal Jade Kitchen at Causeway Point after its renovation. All the restaurants are shifted to level 5 area. I guessed it is a good idea, makes it easier for people to choose and browse through the menu before deciding what to eat. The portion at Crystal Jade is rather small, not enough for 5 of us. This promotion has been going on for some time now and I finally have the chance to give it a try. The promotion is to order a set meal, which consists of 2 items, and have a choice to order another item out of the 4 choices for only $1. Of course we'd order the third item for just $1. After trying so many wife biscuits that is also known as "Lao po bing" in the market, I personnally find that the ones that Crystal Jade my bread sells is still the better ones. The texture of the inner fillings was just nice and smooth, the sweetness is also very balanced. The pastry is quite flaky but good. Overall, the wife biscuit is more similar to the version that I had tried before in Hong Kong. Must give it a try.
