It was almost the same taste as the Hong Kong ones but the noodle was not springy enough. The four wantons were big and the soup was plain. My colleague did order the half of the roasted duck for their porridge and unfortunately, I neither try nor ask if the duck was nice. By looking at the duck, it did give me an impression its skin was crispy and the meat was juicy.

Decided to head over to Crystal Jade for some dim sum and lunch before shopping at Tampines Mall. Ordered two of its Dumpling noodles, and some dim sums, including the chives dumpling, fried carrot cake and siew mai. The dumpling noodles were really dry, noodle is not 'Q' at all, no taste and the sauce is also very diluted. The dumplings were great, with lots of fresh ingredients inside, but the quality of the noodles had definitely pull the quality of the whole dish down. For $7.90, I think I can get much better quality noodles than this one. The Chive Dumplings and Fried Carrot Cake were also very disappointing. The chive dumplings were being fried, the skin of the dumpling was surprisingly crispy, but the filling inside is still not really cooked and the filling inside is definitely too little. The fried carrot cake has also no taste, it doesn't comes with any condiments like chilli sauce as well. The siew mai is the one that is rather edible only. Siew Mai is pretty good, fresh prawns were used. The total bill after GST & service charge came up to $33+ for two person. I believe the next time I'm back at Crystal Jade, will definitely go back to its Roasted Delicacies, which is definitely thousand times better than the noodles and dim sum.

Had a sudden craving for chinese food.Soya bean milk was passable, a healthy choice i must say.I really love this dish. The ever soft and flowy egg with chunks of scallops and mushroom is a healthier choice among the rest of the soup offered.Vegetable was really crunchy and tasty. A must have dish.We had fried rice as well. I top it off with the egg soup we've ordered. Was rather tastier that way!This is one of my favourite dish, Salted yolk prawn. It's really tasty but a tad too salty for the health-conscious peeps.Xiao long bao was nicely done. The meat was succulent. Tasty soup oozes out once you bite on the outer skin which was really soft and smooth.

Just came back from a 2days semi-business related trip from Hong Kong together with hubby, didn’t get any chances to eat any dim sum during the short stay *sob*. Nevermind I also can find good dim sum in singapore. We went to Crystal Jade at Tampines Mall. We ordered Siew Mai, Seafood Wrap in Beancurd Skin, Fried Prawn Dumpling, Lotus Rice, Fried Ee Fu Noodle.Fatty and juicy siew mai, crispy beancurd skin wrapped springy seafood paste. Lotus rice is very fragrant and tasty , and the Ee Fu noodle was well cooked. Smooth texture, with the right amount of moisture, not too wet not too dry.

Foodeeply fried with tasty sweet and saltish egg yolk coated, there Salted Egg Yolk Prawn balls are every rich in flavours. Fried Rice is very common and salty. Their kind of standard definitely lose out to their competitors of the similar trade.Toufu is rather special, the sticky sauce with mushrooms and vegetables to complement its taste. The fish maw that comes with this Yi Ping Guo has a very stinky smell and definitely not to our likings.These duck bee hoon are very fine with braised sauce at the bottom. However the entire duck was not moist to our likings.ServiceService is quite prompt. Plates are cleared shortly and service is just a hand away. A raise of hand is immediately spotted by the attentive waitresses. AmbiencePacked with tables and tables of families, the restaurant business is very good on a friday night, perhaps there are some of them who are in preparation of the celebration for the coming mother day this weekend.PriceStandard pricing however the pricing doesn't match the quality of food we received and not up to expectation. For this kind of pricing and standard, we can easily find in neighbourhood zhi char stalls.
