Went for xiao long bao at Crystal Jade Bugis for lunch! I had 1 set of them for myself. Really love the thin skinned dumplings which burst with soup upon your first bite. Love to eat their fried rice here as the portion is really big and lots of beaten eggs are added to this rice during cooking. One of my favorite comfort foods at this restaurant has got to be their vegetarian noodle soup. The noodles are well cooked in a delicious broth. When I am craving for xiao long baos, I usually go to Crystal Jade since they have quite a few outlets around in Singapore and the price is also reasonable. I ordered two longs of xiao long baos for myself. Each long comes with 5 of the xiao long baos. I like to sip the juices in the xiao long bao first until all of the soup is finished, before I start to eat the meat filling in the xiao long bao. Simple pleasures without burning a hole in your pocket!

After a day of shopping, my friend and i decided to drop by crystal jade for lunch. We decided to order one bowl of its la mian since the portion was pretty large, and we ordered the Ja Jiang Mian! I love its ja jiang mian alot, as its minced pork and noodles really complement each other. At $7.80+, it is not only delicious but also very affordable. Next time you're at crystal jade la mian xiao long bao, be sure to try its ja jiang main next time!

Fried noodle in Crystal Jade. The first dish to arrive, so if you are hungry i guess you should order this. Perhaps it is esay to cook, just fry everything together. Besides being fast, it tastes good plus there are a lot of ingredient too, such as mushroom, bean sprouts and chicken. The noodle is chewy and tasty, with salty and a bit sweet taste.

Here just for dessert! The Red Bean Pan Cake!!! This is my favourite Chinese dessert! Crystal jade offers a pretty good and tasty version of this Shanghainese dish. The red bean paste is not overly sweet and the pancake crust is not too thick. Flat. Just the way I like my Chinese pan cakes to be. Some pancakes have too much fillings and it the poor pancake will be 'obese', definitely not an appetizing sight. Well, too much of anything is a bad thing.

Crystal jade's zha jiang mian. The menu stated that it was spicy but the zha jiang mian wasn't spicy at all. It was rather sweet and salty, but at an appropriate amount. Big serving with amazing delicious la mian. Everyone should try crystal jade's la mian! I love all of them!It is not spicy at all.

Great dim sum they have there! The main highlight is of course the xiao long bao. When I bite, the juice inside just burst out. Simply delightful! The traditional cha siew bao and na huang bao are outstanding too.The Suan La Mian was great! There was a nice blend of spicyness and sourness, with neither too overpowering. Their xiao long bao was average. I had even better ones at Tanjong Pagar before and it's way cheaper. Anyway, for this, it wasn't that bad. The xiao long bao skin was pretty smooth and thin but a little sticky. Meat was succulent and fragrant. When bite into it, soup juices will fill into your mouth! However, beware as it might burnt you! It's always served pipping hot. Their service were great too! Attentive and fast.

This piping hot xiao long bao burst with soup juices once you bite on it. You can choose to have it with vinegar or not. The stuffing (pork) is fresh, tender, tasty and delicious!! The skin is thin and soft yet it doesn't break that easily, thus able to hold most of the soup in it. Worth the try!
