the craze of lao ban tempt me to try it. they are opening more and more stores or franchise. having seen so many photos of lao ban, i am trying it now.i tried the normal one and it is really smooth and it really melts inside my mouth. the normal one is $1.50 and the almond one is $2. for me personally, i prefer hot beancurd hence lao ban is not really to my liking as it is served only chilled.

Mum went to old airport and bought from Lao Ban not knowing which stalls is good.The beancurd comes in a plastic tub with their brand and logo of a couple printed on it. At first bite, it taste very sweet, I suspect the sugar syrup was on top. It got better towards the bottom of the tub when the syrup sink down. This lao ban beancurd costs $1.50 and the beancurd was smooth. The quality of the beancurd has dropped quite a bit over the years, with sometimes me having to eat less tasty beancurd. It has a slight soybean taste but does not leave a dry feeling on your tongue after eating, also I do not feel sick after one bowl. Moreover, it is best eaten cold and best not to shake too much if asked for takeaway.

Long Q forming at this stall on a Sunday afternoon.What so special about this beancurd is that their sugar syrup is added or make together with the beancurd. Not the same as other as other you be aboe to see the sugar syrup on top. The 1st taste in your mouth, you can fdel the soft and silky when itz in your mouth. All this while i have been wondering what's so nice about the beancurd which attracts people to queue so longggggggggg for it! Now i know. It's awesome! *thumbs up!!*It's really silky and tender. I'm a person who don't eat beancurd at all i swear! But this is the beancurd which causes me falling in love with it! I heard from my friend that the had improve on the sweetness, when it first start off it was really sweet, but not it's at a moderate sweetness level. Would love to go back and get it.

I seriously think it is overpriced for such a tub of chilled beancurd to price at $1.50 for original flavor and $2.00 for almond flavoured. A good friend went to queue and given me a few tubs to bring home. I tried the original as well as the almond flavoured. The almond flavoured one is a definite winner. The texture was softer and smoother as compared to the normal beancurd. The level of sweetness was just right. It tasted nice but not nice enough for me to queue for it.

This lao ban beancurd is very famous recently.The texture of it is very smooth and shiny.It is so nice.When i put into my mouth,it melts immediately.The sweetness is just right,so i like it so much.When im queuing,can see that many people buy for many packet.Not regret for queuing for so long time,because it is really nice.ALthough out there got lots of this kind of beancurd,i still think that laoban taste nicer.

This beancurd stall is one of the popular stalls that always has very long queues during all kinds of the days. The price is quite affordable and the portion is quite reasonable too. The bean curd texture is quite smooth and really silk. The taste is delicious and also not sweet as well. Usually I will at least a dozen bowls of their signature beancurds to buy back and eat with my fellow colleagues after the lunch hours.

Queue is always super long here. Service is great. For good food, you will need to be patient! Alot of people bought alot!! I'm not excluded! I bought 12 of it. There's absolutely nothing to complain! The besr beancurd in town. Their beancurd is soft and silky smooth. Slurp it down your throat to taste the fragrant smell of beans. It is just silky smooth and tasty. No regrets!

If you love Beancurd, you should try Lao Ban Soya Beancurd at Old Airport Road Food Centre. Lao Ban Soya Beancurd comes in 2 flavours, original and almond. The stall is quite famous. There is always a long queue and they buy in bulk! Beancurd usually is white in colour but Lao Ban Soya Beancurd is light brown in colour. The Beancurd itself was already sweet so it was not served with sugar syrup like other stall. It also has a special melt in the mouth jelly pudding like texture.
