I headed to Singpost building located at a walking distance from paya lebar station after work to settle some stuff. So i decided to have a quick dinner at Old Chang Kee located at the basement of the building. I ordered stew chicken with rice @ S$4.90 net . The foods are served within 10 mintues and self-service. I placed an order at the counter and made my payment on the spot. The staff will call when the foods are ready. I will then pick them up from the counter.I personally think the portion is decent. The stew chicken meat is tender and the sauce compliment with the white rice. But the carrot and potatoes are slightly hard. I think they need to cook them longer so that we can enjoy the smoothness of the carrot and potatoes.If you are opting for quick dinner option, you can consider to try.
