Old chang kee curry puff is my all time favourite. It is always HOT and Fresh when I eat it... Even though the price $1.40 might seems abit expensive for a curry puff, but the quality and ingredients( curry, potato and some shredded chicken) is definitely worth this price! I always have it as my snack! As for old chang kee breakfast. Their congee with you tiao is less than $2... the congee taste not bad and the you tiao is fresh and hot and very crispy! As for the glutinous rice only have some peanuts etc... taste normal, and only cost $1.20....

Even though curry puff at old chang kee is common, it should be highlighted that the curry puff here is always hot and crispy ;DBought the curry puff from this outlet 3 times at different times of the day and all the 3 times I got the curry puff hot and fresh ;DThe service isn’t very good though. But the curry puffs are undeniably to be hot and fresh. The standards is also great As always, the curry puff is full of the filling and is not too spicy. The outer crust is thick at the sides and thin at the body. Normally for thick flour coating, it would not be nice to eat but the ones at old chang kee is fragrant and nice^^

With $10 OCK Voucher from Open Rice I went on a buying spree and faced the happy dilemma of picking from OCK's scrumptious range of snacks and finger food - their signature Curry O that carried the OCK brand overseas, chicken wings, spring rolls, yam cake and all the skewered snacks that you can possibly think of from fish balls, cuttlefish balls, chicken nuggets, fish nuggets, battered shrimps, breaded scallops, gyoza etc. Spoilt for choice.I picked up two Curry O, two chicken wings and a skewer each of cuttlefish balls, fish nuggets, breaded mock scallops, baby crab claws, prawn nuggets, easily busting the $10 voucher value quickly. The friendly aunties at OCK have the knack of timing the deepfrying process perfectly, so every item turns out evenly golden in colour. They do a thorough job of draining the oil off the deepfried items so there are no translucent greasy patches when I swipe a paper napkin over the cuttlefish balls, nuggets, etc.My items were fresh and yummy as the OCK aunties are zealous about discarding used oil at regular intervals. Curry O and chicken wings need no introduction. Cuttlefish balls were delightfully springy, nuggets were glorious bites of firm white fish, baby crab claws were tasty and morerish. This time I discovered a new favourite snack - ping pong ball sized prawn nuggets - a thin crispy coating of breadcrumbs enveloping minced prawn filling that was REAL not surimi. Next time I will go straight for these prawn nuggets - on top of my usual buys of cuttlefish balls and fish nuggets.

the cheesy sausages were ok, not as cheesy as what i tried last time and this outlet does not have mustard to go with the sausages so was a little disappointed. the other products were quite nice too. the chicken wings are quite nice but sometime the batter was a bit too thick then will taste like eating flour more than the chicken itself. the gyoza is my favourite and is a nice snack too

An oily yet mouth watering snack that can easily satisfy one's itchy mouth. I felt 'hungry' that afternoon so I grabbed a sotong on stick from old chang kee. There was about six pieces of sotong legs on the stick. Oil was spreading out on my lips as I bit into the sotong. Forgetting about that, I could feel the springy texture of the sotong which was really great! Priced at $1.60, it is a reasonable and satisfying snack!
