The FoodThis stall does not offer the dry noodles option but still a lot of people queued up for the soup version. I ordered the Soup Minced Pork Noodles ($3) and the noodles were springy in a clear but rich pork broth. Generous ingredients of minced pork and pork balls were given and the pork balls very nice and well-flavoured.The ServiceThe waiting time can be as long as 1 hour during peak hours at night but is worth it for the best bak chor mee in Singapore. The AmbienceThe stall is located in hawker center hence is well-ventilated The PriceReasonably priced at $3 for large and $2.50 for smallOverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try for all bak chor mee lovers!!查看更多

Date : 20121215Time of visit : 7.40pmWhat/Where : Xing Ji Rou Cuo Mian @ Fengshan food centreWhat we had : Bak Chor MeeAverage cost/pax : $3.50Ambience : Bright, spacious with plenty of seats but cluttered smokey smell from the stalls. Service : Slow as there were alot of orders.Portion : Soup was tasty but oily; Alkaline tasting noodles. This version of Bak Chor Mee is the soup kind. so people may not accept it if they were expecting the usual dry version.Location : Temporary setup as the market is undergoing a renovation. Parking is always a problem on weekend. What's good in particular : Springy handmade meatballs What's bad in particular : too oily ABiteOfEverything.com查看更多

Do not really appreciate this 'always long queue' stall at this popular Feng shan Centre. Nothing can be found in the dish but only the pork meatballs and the minced pork meat in it. Both the meat balls and minced pork are just alright, but I could not find any 'x-factors' in both of them. The noodles are just the usual egg noodles which you can get from most of the noodles stall around you. The soup base is quite good as is full of the fragrant from the pork meat used to boil it. But this version from here does not really impress me and I will not really come back for it. 查看更多

I have to wait 45 minutes for my bowl of Bak Chor Mee Soup! The stall only sells the soup version which came with minced meat, meat balls and cut red chilli. The noodles were Q and springy. The meatballs were firm and nice. The soup was slurping good too. The disappointment was the minced meat. I find it too fine and could not taste them in the bowl of soup. I enjoyed having the cut red chilli with the noodles and asked for more. Initially I was worried that the stall owner will not be happy that I asked for more than what was given. However the lady I approached at the stall was very nice and asked me to help myself to them.查看更多

Everyone in Singapore has heard of the famous "Bedok Blk 85 Bak Chor Mee". As iconic as the Jalan Kayu Roti Prata, or as no-chopsticks-necessary Katong Laksa. This soup-based variation is so famous in fact, that at Fengshan Market & Food Centre at Blk 85 Bedok North St 4, there are currently not one, but three stalls of Bak Chor Mee. Two of the stalls are operating side by side on the outer most row of the market, and one is in the middle row.As every time I travelled there, I will choose this stall, conversely I didn’t have any chances to try out the rest. I am staying at the west side of Singapore, seldom travel that far. So next time I will tried another 2 stalls and review. meanwhile, this ba chor mee only serve soup, no dry available.查看更多

I first tried this during a supper event. I had heard about this stall that was highly raved about and was itching to try it. The soup is indeed delicious! It was filled with the fragrance of meat. The noodles were springy and delicious too. The ba chor mee included 5 meatballs. Making the dish a unique one as ba chor mee usually didnt have so many. Delicious!查看更多

This stall is quite famous,i went there with my friends for lunch Bak Chor Mee for $2.50 comes with 5 meatballsThe noodles had that superb QQ texture but yet had a good warmness for you to keep eating it without the need to stopminced meat was finely grinded & was floating around the soup & what seriously impressed me was that minced meat blended extremely well with the soup and noodles. Overall i rate 8/10查看更多

This is my favourite stall for minced meat noodles. It is very well-known for soup minced meat noodle instead of the dried ones. There is always a long queue for it. The noodles are very springy and very well-cooked. The soup base is very sweet and does not make one thirsty after drinking too. There are lots of minced meat and meat balls given too. The meat balls are fresh and chewy. Usually I will order the $3 serving as the small one at $2.50 is not enough. 查看更多

Ba chor mee at Bedok 85 is really popular and a must try. It comes in two portions, $2.50 or $3. Personally, I think $3 is more worth it as you have 8 meatballs and bigger portion of noodles while $2.50 comes with 4 meatballs and smaller portion of noodles. The soup is tasty and the noodles are tangy which gives a good chewy feeling. 查看更多

I can't believe I'm the first to review this place! Hawker stalls getting neglected these days I guess...This Ba Chor Mee is not what you'd get from most other stalls. This comes only with meatballs, minced meat, and noodles. No frills like mushrooms, or lettuce. Visual-wise, it's very plain and boring and not very appetising.Yet, the simple combination of soup and meat still manages to be endlessly eatable. You could eat bowls of this and not get sick. That is a testament to something that's simply satisfying... uncomplicated and unsophisticated, but no less delicious. The noodles are springy, the soup is just the right taste of meat (not oily, not salty), and the meatballs are firm yet tender.Don't be tricked. There is a stall right next to this one, at the corner, with its own share of signs. I haven't tried it yet, but if you want the truly famous one, it's this one you're looking for. Location wise, this place is by a bus stop. Atmosphere wise, it's a coffee shop with alfresco dining under the stars, which makes the place remarkably cooler (temperature and ambience wise). It's good for drinking with Uncles but not for chatting with friends. There's a good selection of other stalls to supplement your Ba Chor Mee, e.g. Pork Porridge, Oyster Omelette, BBQ Sting ray, Satay, etc... A real hawker food paradise.Note of caution, depending on where you sit, order from the correct drink stall servicing that quadrant. Otherwise you risk getting scolded! You're in the right place if the colour of your drink's straw matches that of the other patrons around you.For more food photos, visit Omnivoracious (http://omnivoracious.tumblr.com)查看更多
