I chanced upon this carrot cake and oyster omelette stall when I dine at Bukit Timah Food Centre. The queue was quite long as the stall uncle always fried a fresh plate when ordered.While you are waiting for your order (It's self service), you can smell the aroma of the oil grilling pan when uncle frying the egg omelette. The oyster omelette that I ordered had cripsy egg with starch flour. Carrot cake was smooth and soft, seems home-made unlike what you get when you procure from the factory. Unfortunately the carrot cake was not thoroughly fried, maybe the cook was stressed by my hovering presence and when i asked is my carrot cake ready, he served it to me immediately while continuing to fry the rest. Overall pretty good plate of black carrot cake. Not too sweet, just nice.…查看更多
