It has been a while since we last makan zichar food from Master crab. hubby had curry fish head craving so we ordered one fish head and another dish to share.Curry fish head $22The curry gravy was great, very thick and spicy. We ate a lot of rice with this! The fish head was pretty meaty and very fresh. The accompanying veggies were a little lacking though and they don't have tau pok which I liked. I went there for dinner yesterday. I ordered teppanyaki tofu, deer meat and a soup for $33. Their portion was quite small, but just nice for 2 people. The tofu was okay, prawn was quite fresh, the sauce was a bit sticky. The deer meat was quite tender but overall everything was just so so. The serving time took about 15mins, the price is considered a bit expensive for me. I will come back try their other dishes next time.

Ordered two dishes for takeaway to 加菜 for dinner. I called the restaurant in advance and pick a tofu dish and a pork dish after checking for availability.Steamed Tofu with minced pork and preserved vegetables $10This is nice, the tofu was very smooth and soft and the slightly saltish preserved vege and mince pork adds just the right amount of flavor to the otherwise tasteless tofu. MIL was in a good mood...gave us a treat at one of our usual tse char stall Master Crab Punggol branch. I loved the Salty egg crab here...yum yum! She ordered a $298 set meal that consists of two crabs (2 choice of flavors) and 6 other dishes plus a dessert. What's in the dinner menu today? Hmmm I decided to makan their Dry horfun today. As I mentioned before their stir fry dishes are pretty good so their fried noodle, beehoon and rice dishes all have lotsa wok hei...the 干炒河粉 is one of my fave dishes here. I also ordered the crispy 腐皮卷 to compliment the horfun. 腐皮卷 $9, generous amount of fresh and crunchy prawn paste is wrapped in thin and crispy layer of beancurd skin...Thumbs up!干炒河粉 $4.50, fried with prawns, egg, lean pork, fish cake and tau geh.

Today I'm lazy, so I made an advance phone call to the tse char stall near my flat and ordered dinner takeaway so that I can pick it up when I'm back at Punggol from work. I love the stir fry dishes here...got lotsa wok hei. Compared to the Hao Xiang seafood, this place has much better food quality. Their signature salted egg crab is the must try! For today's menu, I ordered 星洲米粉 ($4.50) and sweet and sour pork ribs ($10). The beehoon is very good. Pork rib is not too bad as well.

I know they are supposed to be a crab specialist but did n't know their zi char standard is so low. Order a $4 crispy noodle (sheng main) but was terribly disappointed with the standard. The noodles were not crispy at all, taste more like it has been kept for very long. But the worst part was the gravy was not hot at all. Ingredients wise were pretty normal tasting as well. Its either the food was left there for long without one serving it to me else something must have went wrong in the kitchen
