I was lucky that I managed to get a table without any reservation on a Sunday afternoon. However, I was offered al-fresco seating as the very narrow sushi bar was full. Hence, no photos of the restaurant itself! If you haven’t heard, Tatsuya boasts an excellent reputation in Japanese food. All ingredients are freshly imported from Tsukiji and Fukuoka fish markets. Each month, they come up with new seasonal dishes to make use of the season’s finest ingredients and their value-for-money bento set lunches are served, even on weekends. Ladies Lunch ($26.80) – I’m definitely not joking when I say Tatsuya offers value-for-money bento sets! This set includes a potato sald, cold udon, mixed vegetable tempuras, 4 slices of sushi, 2 california maki pieces and a personalised tamago with the branding of the restaurant! I was impressed with the spread, and more so with the quality and taste. Everything tasted excellent. The sushis were fresh, with an adequate amount of sushi rice under the fish in order for diners to maximize their appreciation of the fish itself. The tempuras were crispy and aromatic too! See more reviews at http://thehungrybunnie.blogspot.comTatsuya is the grand-daddy of Japanese cuisine in Singapore. The pinnacle of luxury dining. Where freshness is unparalleled and attention to detail is unrivaled. The one place you bring someone you're trying to impress. The place where rich towkays go to for their regular meals. It was very telling that they were fully booked on a typical Monday night for dinner. Luckily for us, we were early. So, with the promise to vacate our counter seats in an hour and a half, we were quickly ushered to seats at the end of the counter. You may be mistaken if you think you need a big fat bonus to dine here, because a quick review of the ala carte menu proved otherwise. Their ala carte dishes are surprisingly quite affordably priced, with most sashimi costing about $30 for 5 fat pieces, sushi costing about $20 for 2 pieces and noodle dishes costing about $15.You can actually get full here without busting your wallet! Service was impeccable and top-notch. The service of the courses were timed perfectly (each course arrived only after the last was done and spoon put down) and the kimono-clad waitresses took the time to explain each dish so we knew what we were eating. We loved that the chefs were also genuinely affable and chatty. There's only one Kaiseki ($200) selection here, and you'll do well to order this. It highlights the seasonal best and it's totally awesome. 繼續閱讀

For full review and photos, please visit http://thumbsforfood.blogspot.sg/2013/04/tatsuya-goodwood-park-hotel.htmlTatsuya is said to be one of the best Japanese restaurants in Singapore. Being a Japanese food lover, I was dying to try out Tatsuya. Well, for starters, we went for the lunch sets on a weekend. Would love to try their Omakase in near future! Do make reservations in advance before you visit Tatsuya because they are usually fully booked. We tried 4 different kinds of bentos and we got to say it was good! Overall, we enjoyed dining at Tatsuya. The service was good and even though we dined at the al fresco area, it was not too warm. For the price, the bentos were definitely worth it! Do give it a try if you're a Japanese food lover. 繼續閱讀

This is the kind of Japanese food one must go for !It was great excellence! Now I'd feel shortchanged if i were to go other Japanese restaurants, this taste totally like paradise. Of course the menu has long names and stuff so it's gonna take awhile to remember or understand the menu items.. sometimes the staff would scrutinize you and it makes you uncomfortable but I believe it's just a way for them to give excellent service and attend to your needs. Obviously I don't know what to choose (am a Japanese food noob) so I went for the one in the image, with as wide variety as possible. FRESH quality ingredients, totally utmost perfection and your sense of taste suddenly activates and becomes sooooooo alive. Exceeds my expectations. Will definitely visit here again ! A little pricey as I'm still a student but i guess the executives will be able to afford it eh! 繼續閱讀

My first time having it here,it was a treat by my bossThey have quite a lot to choose from I had their bento set ,Sushi Bento included about 6 pieces of sushi ,6 small pieces of rolled maki, some tempura,chawanmushi....The sushi was great ,the slices of fish are pretty generous, they give you very little rice in relation to the fish, allowing the flavour of the fish to really come throughIs a bit expensive but they are quite generous for the potion,so quite value for it & also we get to see them make it on the spot,so was quite interesting But also a bit stressful,as siting there, they will look at us eatOverall i rate 8/10 繼續閱讀
