Was wandering around in Causeway Point and decide to have dinner at Food Republic. This stall caught my attention with its unique offerings and i decided to get the Thai Style Chicken Chop Rice ($5.50).Was quite skeptical cause whenever i eat chicken chop i think of chicken thats quite tough to bite. Anyway I was in for a pleasant surprise with the nice presentation of the meal (in a mini wok) and topped with freshly cooked (fried) chicken and egg. The chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Thankfully it has also been chopped into smaller pieces which makes eating easily. I would definitely be interested to return and try their other dishes such as cereal fish rice (instead of the prawn).
