Abalone and mushroom. The abalone and mushroom was cooked to perfection. The taste was easy on the buds and easily sliced and chewed. The vegetables on the side was a good touch.
Their sausage rice is supposed to be their specialty at the restaurant. The manager stopped by to describe the process of cooking and how important timing was to make sure the rice was just right. There were several selections of sausage to choose from and gravy was provided for us to add to our rice if we wanted more saltiness and flavor.
Dessert was light and refreshing. This must be the best chrysanthemum and 'gou ji' dessert I've had in Singapore. Not too sweet and perfect to end the night.The servers were very courteous and when asked on several occasions for sauces of several kinds, they were served immediately without delay, nor was the request 'forgotten". Perhaps it was because they were slightly older and experienced in providing good service.
