The dessert here in West Mall is just ok. The mango cold desserts are quite diluted. There was a promotion at 3 desserts for the price of 2 so it was quite reasonable. Good place for chilling and dessert after dinner! The one in the picture is quite special with coconut hor fun. 繼續閱讀

When I was at West Mall, I saw a new Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert branch opened here. Hence, I went there to have a meal.I ordered the Wanton Soup Noodles at the counter and the food will be delivered to table when ready. The price was $5.90.The condiments was self-service, I took their special chilli. The chilli was very good and spicy though a bit too oily. It tasted somewhat like XO sauce, minus the dry scallop. The Wanton Noodle soup was quite light and bland, I should have ordered dry noodles instead. The wanton was good. It was big and meaty. The meat of wanton tasted full of flavour and not hard to bite one. The noodles was "crispy" similar to Hong Kong type of yellow noodles. Overall, the Wanton Noodle was good as compared to other Hong Kong Cafe eatery. 繼續閱讀

Even though this dessert chain has various outlets in Singapore, it is my first time there. The space is quite small so it can get a little cramped during peak hours. I was shopping in the afternoon on a weekday so it wasn't crowded when I dropped by during mid-afternoon. They have quite a range of desserts, both hot and cold. I decided to order the hot dessert. There are only 3 types of pastes - red bean, black sesame and almond so I decided to order the black sesame paste. The paste is not as thick as I would like it to be which is quite a pity. The sweetness level is alright and while the fragrance of the black sesame did not hit you immediately, it became stronger as you eat a few more mouthfuls. At $3.30, it is slightly expensive and I feel there are other better black sesame pastes around at a cheaper price. 繼續閱讀
