Took my dinner at Bedok, we were still looking for some finger food after that. Noticed a stall famous in selling Chwee Kueh, sadly they were sold out. Then we changed our mind to have Chee Cheong at the end. From what I know, there are generally two types of Chee Cheong Fun. The first type was the common one taken out from steamer, whereas the other type was typical Hong Kong style which filled with luxury ingredients such as Char Siew or Shrimps. Darkening sweet sauce and some spicy chilli poured on the plate, then a generous amount of sesame seeds were added. No doubt both of them were freshly steamed, but I can tasted they had already been made and reheated. Combination was priced at $2.50, two rolls of Chee Cheong and one piece of Carrot Cake. Pretty cheap for snack after dinner, it was filling portion for two persons.…查看更多
