There are altogether 4 famous Yong Tau Foo stalls that I know of in Chinatown, and this is one of them. Long queues at these stalls during lunch hour are not a surprising sight. An ex-colleague once raved about this stall. So, I decided to brave the queue and give it a shot. I ordered the set, which included Kangkong. Like Koo Kee Yong Tau Foo, the types of Yong Tau Foo pieces are standard.Overall, this stall fared as average to me. The pieces were not as soft as that of Xiu Ji Yong Tau Foo. The sauce drizzled on top of the Kangkong could have been richer in taste as well.I suggest Gao Ji could level up its game by allowing customers to choose the number of Yong Tau Foo pieces. Without the additional Kangkong, I'm unsure if I would be full from the given quantity. I still prefer that of Xiu Ji. Memorably good, along with its nerve-wracking queue!Total Cost: Yong Tau Foo Set - $4-$5 繼續閱讀

definitely one of the more popular stalls here near OG. The yong tau foo set probably needs no introduction, you get one noodle with minced pork, yong tau foo pieces like 1 toufu, 1 fishball, 1 tau pok, 1 fried beancurd, 1 ngoh hiang. i ordered the set so it comes with a plate of scalded kang kong enhanced with topping of fermented beancurd sauce. I did find the fermented beancurd sauce a little too salty today but overall it was good. i like to add on the sweet sauce to the noodle itself. its self service at the stall here. 繼續閱讀

One of my favourite Yong Tau Foo stall. I went to take away the Yong Tau Foo for a light lunch. It has got quite a few different pieces of Yong Tau Foo. It has got the fishball, the tau kwa with fish paste, the tau pok with fish paste and ngor hiang. All of these pieces tasted fresh. It go well with the chilli and sweet sauce provided. As i was not too hungry then so i skipped the noodle. 繼續閱讀

Just loved the way the noodles were served in the dried version with minced chicken, yet can be without the usual sweet or chilli sauce which was amazingly nice. Can't find them elsewhere and glad they're still around in Chinatown and thought better have this for lunch. Everything was fine except the noodles, it was slightly soggy and the niang dou fu is still that tasty and nice 繼續閱讀

I got accquainted with this niang dou fu when they were situated at the then Emerald Orchard Foodcourt. Just loved the way the noodles were served in the dried version with minced chicken, yet can be without the usual sweet or chilli sauce which was amazingly nice. Can't find them elsewhere and glad they're still around in Chinatown and thought better have this for lunch. Everything was fine except the noodles, it was slightly soggy and the niang dou fu is still that tasty and nice and their motto is still there, no pork and no lard! 繼續閱讀
