I was here a year ago and have not returned since as it was out of the way for me. And after this second visit, it is most unlikely I would return again. Sadly, as do most of the eating places function, quality tends to slip after gaining enough reputation and crowd. It is quite a pity that this place is likewise too Ordered the Fish Head steamboat for four persons ($40). Soup tasted like just packed with MSG, unlike the last time it had been during my first visit. The portion of fish inside had also reduced while most of the fish pieces were more of bones. With the portion of ingredients contained in the steamboat, it was indeed not worthwhile anymore. I can easily have more fish pieces and veggies at other steamboat places at the same price However, their signature beancurd was not too bad as well as the Prawn roll. These two dishes were my only consolation haha. On the other hand, the Prawn Paste Chicken was alright, nothing fantastic. Overall, I think food quality is just average but standard has definitely dropped. I might as well hunt for other fish head steamboat restaurants which could offer the same, or even better, standards.

Fish Soup Steamboat was commonly visible at void deck in Coffeeshops, Foodcourts or quaint Shophouses. There was no excuse to refuse trying these time-tested foods we surrounded with. We were faced with the choices, Grouper or Pomfret. Final answer would be Pomfret Version after discussion. Let’s started!Blistering hot while it came, it was an authentic local cuisine always. Large pieces of Fish, the flesh was substantial for the inspiring soup. Of course, Fish Head soup will be sweeter yet we elected the lighter version with only Fish Slices. The soup was still thickly milky, wonderful taste. Adding in some veggies, it helped a lot to make it tangy and fulfilling. Needless to say, it was a salivary meal. $22.00 for the small Hot Pot, it was enough for two to three persons.

i ordered their mother's day dinner package which is about $250 for 8 dishes include their famous fish steamboat, toufu (i remembered last time it taste much nicer and better with eggs) this time round it seems to be taste normal, chicken (but bcos they cooked in advance by the time we reached the boss says it might taste bad so she changed to some pork chops), yam rings, thai food, salted prawns ( this is super nice! esp when the prawns is big and with the salted egg taste! goood!) due to having some occasion, the whole place was super crowded and ended it feels very hot inside even with aircons on. and their drinks is also sold out fast, that night we only left with coke. hopefully next time round when im back there wont have such problem.

The FoodI ordered the The Fish Head Steamboat (Red Grouper). The soup stock was served in a traditional charcoal furnace steamboat with cabbage, garland chrysanthemum, chunks of fresh fish head parts, fried yam chunks and seaweed.The soup broth was just very tasty and rich in flavour with a decent taste of wine and some medical herbs The ServiceWaiting time still acceptable as the food is served within 10 mins.The AmbienceThe place was cosy & comfortable and good for family dine-out or gathering with friends.The PriceReasonably priced at $30 for fresh ingredientsOverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

The seafood dishes here are always my top choice when coming to think of an ideal venue to have a sumptomous meal withmy close friends and family. The layout of the restaurant is comfortable and quite spacious. My favourite will be their cereal prawns which the cereals used are very generous and really crispy. The prawns are also very crunchy and fresh. only the price is abit towards the high side that make me think twice before i visit here.
