If you are the health conscious group, the fish soup bee hoon here is an ideal choice for your meals. The sliced fish is really thick slice and the fish meat is soft and juicy. As I wanted to really have the healthier version, I have choose the sliced fish instead of the deep fried fish meat version. The thick rice bee hoon are very smooth and easy to swallow in. The soup is filled with that light sweet flavour from the ikan billis and is not too salty. Some lettuces and beansprouts are added in it to add in that extract crunchyness to the bee hoon. Tried the long queue Long Ji fish soup at Hougang. They are pretty famous in that area. Decied to give it a try. i order the clear soup slice fish with rice and only cost me $4.50 (Rice - $0.50). They are extremely generous with their ingredients –The soup contain some cubes of tofu ,a fair amount of vegetables & of course the fish.
