This Food Village really has many different types of local delights for you to try and you will be overwhelming on which one to eat. But usually when I come here, I will definitely buy this hokkien mee. The yelllow noodles and rice noodles are very chewy and tasty. The prawn stock used in cooking this local delight is very fragrant and not overly seasoned. The sotong rings and prawns are both fresh and chewy too. Portion is quite generous and you will normally be able to expect long queues during weekends. 繼續閱讀

My 1st time here at East Cost Lagoon and heard from my friend that the fun fair area is gonna be revamp soon hence we decided to drop by to capture sweet memories.Since we have a group of 5 people, we decided to order a bit of everything to share. As a typical Singaporean, the safest way is to buy food from the stall that has a super long Q. lolz... Hence, we joined the Q for our dinner. No doubt on the fried oyster. The sweet potato flour batter has mixed texture. Thin and crisy, which is full of fragrance, with a slight burnt smell. Chewy batter with a Q Q effect. Among these mixed texture, there are fluffy egg omelet and fresh juicy oyster. Hmm... lovely. Taste as great without the chili dips.Disappointing hokkien mee which does not have much seafood taste. It's overly cooked where the noodles are quite soggy. We can only blame ourselves for being too greedy as we ordered a $6 portion. Not nice and too huge a portion which we have difficulties finishing it. 繼續閱讀
