We were in Tanjong Pagar finding a Korean restaurant for early dinner and finally decided on @2d1nsojubang after seeing that they offer BOTH Korean BBQ and marinated soy crabs. The place had just opened its doors for the night, so there weren’t many customers nor employees yet. To be honest, the food wasn’t the best quality, but still up to par with the price, and all the staff who served us were super friendly - they even offered us a free bowl of jajangmyeon after hearing that we wanted to try it but were afraid we ordered too much. Even though we didn’t have the K-BBQ buffet that most people come here for, we still ended up leaving super full, especially after finishing the complimentary banchan and ice cream

The only thing that stopping me from eating so much meat is the cost. It's so expensive to eat grilled meat in Singapore. And in some places, a plate of meat with a pathetic portion can be as much as $30, expensive yet not filling. But wait......Good news for ME & you! *skip in the air*2D1N serves korean grilled meat at affordable cost! Just pay S$20+ per pax for free flow grilled meat, seafood, vegetables, cooked food, fruits, drinks etc. I went to 2 or 3 outlets (including its sister resturant, Ssikkek Korean BBQ) and apparently the charges were not the same (all in the range of S$20+), which could be due to the different timing and venue. Anyway, S$20+ for free flow of meat is a super good deal! ROARRRRrrr...... Oops.. I mean free flow of beef, pork, chicken in different parts/marination. Bulgogi, beef short plate, pork ribs, pork collar, bbq chicken, you name it. The meat here were rather fresh and the staff would keep refilling. Thumbs up! Seafood, Salad, Vegetable The service here is superb also. The staff will frequently help you to change the aluminum foil. The only bad thing is the place is rather small, and you probably smell like bbq food when you step out from the restaurant.Oh ya before I forgot, because the crowd will start pouring in before the opening hours, remember to record your name on the booklet at the entrance. Dun just wait around!Visit http://fun-hideout.blogspot.sg/2013/08/2d1n-soju-bang.html for more pictures! ♥ ♥ ♥

When my mother and me reached this venue, it was crazily crowded. I saw groups of people camping outside of the restaurant waiting for the waiter to call their names and bring them up to the second floor for their tables. It is busy at night especially on weekends, but I told my girlfriend that there is a good reason for me to choose the popular place as Great food at a great price (Cheap Korean BBQ buffet).Nicely marinated chicken, yum! Worth the $$ if you don't mind on variety too little..Beef short rib, sausage, pork belly and prawns are my favourite. Pork chop is tender, but not so tasty. After my stomach being filled up with food, I discovered that I love all the nice food due to the meats are really very fresh and real korean style. Side dishes are those cook food and salad bar, which are really very appertising as shown in above photographs.Spicy Seafood Noodle's portion is huge!!Lastly, I wished to address to everybody is the cashier of this restaurant has to collect payment from diners latest by 10.30 p.m. even though it open till 11.00 p.m. Service here sucks too because floor is oily and slippery, so all of us must be really careful when walking to the toilet for washing our hands after our meals. My tips to everybody as $26.00 is all you can eat FREE FLOW BBQ meat and you must try because it's awesome!!! Good food and VALUE FOR MONEY compared to other Korean restaurants where each entry is $30+! Beware that you might smell like a piece of BBQ meat on yourself after the meal because that is quite hot inside due to little A/C. Please be early, otherwise you have to wait an hour like me.

Full 2D1N Soju Bang review here: http://ivanteh-runningman.blogspot.sg/2014/02/2d1n-soju-bang.htmlAmong the oldest Korean barbecue restaurants in Singapore, 2D1N Soju Bang is still going strong, offering authentic Korean food at really affordable prices. Notorious for their terrible ambience, 2D1N Soju Bang still manages to pull in the younger crowds, with queues of over an hour during peak periods.2D1N Soju Bang is famously poorly ventilated. The buffet area upstairs is worst, with smells sticking to your clothes. 2D1N Soju Bang knows that not much can be done, because of its shophouse location, and thus offers Febreeze at the door. The ala-carte area downstairs is much nicer, and has some wall decorations. 2D1N Soju Bang is showing signs of aging, furniture is wearing down, and the place doesn't look sparkly clean.Service at 2D1N Soju Bang is decent. There isn't much service at the buffet upstairs, as most of it is self-service, but tables are cleared quickly. The ala-carte area downstairs has some service, but it's rather average and functional, not memorable. The cheap prices of food at 2D1N Soju Bang is the main draw, with ala-carte costing less than SGD $18 per person, and the buffet costing about SGD $20 ++ per person. Plus, the food is of above average quality; in particular, the meats are well marinated, and the vegetables are fresh. The selection of banchan side dishes is pretty varied. Good, tasty food, but the terrible ambience will make me think twice about visiting again.

I've been here for approximately 5 times. All the time for friend's gathering and I'm still not sick of this place. The marination of the meat is awesome. It's sweet after BBQ-ing it. However, the variety of the food is pretty limited. Thus do not expect like a sumptuous buffet meal. The steak is worth the money that you're paying for. The price for that beer and buffet is reasonable. I wouldn't say it's cheap.
