If it is raining and you are at the Adam Road Food Centre, do remember to try the Adam Mutton Soup. The mutton soup is the chinese type and not the indian type. The mutton soup has the nice herbal taste that is not overwhelming. The mutton pieces was nice and lean and taste good. The chili sauce used to for dipping the mutton pieces is also not too spicy. I will normally order the yam rice instead of the normal white rice as it is more fragrant and goes well with the soup.

I am never a fan of Mutton Soup. My partner suggested we should try it and i agreed. In the end, my partner enjoyed it but i did not quite like it. The herbal taste did not manage to cover the smell of mutton too well. This bowl of soup came with a generous portion of shredded meat with a handful of wolf berries in it. An option was given to choose between the white rice and the yam rice. We decided to go with the yam rice. It got a nice taste of dried shrimps which we enjoyed quite a bit. If you are afraid of the mutton smell like myself then a good way to eat it is to dip the meat into the chilli sauce before eating it.Somehow, i still prefer the other stall at Jalan Besar to this.
