Wah, the food here power lah, and price also very reasonable for this kind of fine dining. Good for students to practise also. Food come a bit slow, but never mind lah, they still learning mah. The soup of the day very flavourful, and the Szechuan chicken appetiser also very shiok. Chef even come out and ask how’s the food, I think that one very nice touch. Servers also friendly, and the drink of the day wah, really one of the best I ever try! Confirm will come back again.查看更多

It was such a wonderful experience dining here. From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by the teacher who showed us to our seats. The students did an amazing job — attentive, polite, and even able to explain the menu with confidence. The food honestly exceeded my expectations. The red wine braised beef was the highlight for me — generous in portion and so flavourful, it reminded me of a proper French restaurant. The rest of the dishes were also well-executed, from the appetiser to the dessert, and the mocktails added a refreshing touch.Considering we had a full spread — appetiser, main, dessert, coffee, mocktail, bread, and water — the $20 price tag felt like such a steal. Truly great value for the quality and effort put in.I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try. It’s not just about the food, but also the experience of being served with such heart and dedication.查看更多

This student-run restaurant is a very interesting experience because the food and service are done by students learning the ropes. The menu changes every season, so there is always something new to try. The food was enjoyable, and you can see the effort the students put into presentation and flavor. Service was friendly and enthusiastic, even if a little unpolished at times, which is understandable. The ambiance is casual and welcoming, making it a comfortable place to dine. Overall, it’s a great way to support students while enjoying a meal, and giving feedback helps them improve and learn.查看更多

First visit to Amber West for lunch. Located within ITE College West in Choa Chu Kang, it’s a fine-dining restaurant where students are trained under the guidance of their mentors. They recently revamped their set lunch menu at the start of the new term. They offer a 2-course meal at $18 and a 3-course meal at $20, which includes an appetizer (soup or salad), mocktail, main course, tea or coffee, and dessert. The quality isn’t top-tier given the affordable price, but it’s heartening to see the students giving their best to serve customers. Well done.查看更多

I had lunch at Amber West as I was College West. The waitress was still trainee. The service was under the supervision of a Lecturer. The soup of the day was the mushroom cappuccino. As the two ingredients, mushroom and cappuccino have aroma, the cappuccino was not too strong to overshadow the mushroom smelt. It was not too creamy. The bun was warm but it was too small. The butter used was salted butter. It made the bread taste better. The main slow was the slow cooked salmon with creamed spinach in a claw broth. The creamed spinach was thick and as the salmon sliced down and blend with the creamy spinach, the salmon was not dry. The vegetable was too little. The size of salmon was alright. As the plate looked too yellowish, I would suggest to add cherry tomatoes to brighten the colour of the dish. The last dish was the dessert, apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. The apple crumble was soft and yet crunchy. The vanilla was not too hard and neither was it melting. It was just temperature was just nice, even dinner with sensitive teeth can enjoy. The cook made effort to decorate the dessert with spread of strawberry jam. It was a creative dish by the trainee. The cost of the meal was $10 without GST charge. I enjoyed the meal. 查看更多
