Sometimes my sister and I go on a foodie trip around Takashimaya Food Hall and one day we decide to head to Ambush's for a quick lunch to fill our belly before we start with the other food stalls. We ordered the Salmon and Mushroom Paella (~$10+) and although you cannot really compare with the authentic paella from Spain (they are not a Spanish restaurant), it still taste pretty decent, considering the texture and consistency of the rice.I like the salmon too as its well-cooked and blends in well
I like the salmon too as its well-cooked and blends in well with the rice. If eaten alone, the rice might be too plain for my liking.
I went around mid-afternoon and so it wasn't too crowded, but if you are coming during the peak period like lunch or dinner, you may have difficulty finding seats because this place is quite like a self-service restaurant in the sense that you find your own seats and order at the counter.
There is a high probability i would come back to try the other items on the menu or head straight for the paella!
