<br>Nonetheless, that is a story for another day. So, with sheer hard work, determination, some brilliant ideas and strokes of luck along the way, Arnold’s Fried Chicken moved in a slow but steady pace to what it has become today.

Fast food outlets out there, meet your newest competitor - Arnold's. Arnold's is the place to go if you are craving for some solid fried chicken.I didn't hear about Arnold's until one of my friends suggested going there one day. It was kind of out of the way for most of us but we heard it was really good. And man we were not disappointed.My friend and I got the 2 person combo meal with an additional cheese sauce. The chicken was served hot, you can literally see the steam coming out of the chicken as you attempt to take a bite. It reminds me of the kind of spring chicken one usually order at those food courts but its even better. Crispy and tasty.I normally prefer shoe string fries but the ones served at Arnold's were fantastic. They were not too oily. (I wonder if they ad anything special to their fries. It just tastes great.) I am such a big fan of Arnold's now.I hope they open more outlets so that I can satisfy my cravings more easily. P.s- Photos credit to my friend. How often do you go to a fast food joint, cafe or restaurant and get everything you ordered served piping hot & fresh all at one go? Throughout the years I've visited, Arnold's Fried Chicken never fails in this aspect. So I recently went there with some friends and we've ordered the two 2 Person Combo Meal ($23.70). You can swap the chicken parts to your favorite kind with slight additional charges, and the Cheese Dip ($0.60) was pretty good and cheap compared to some well-known fried chicken places we know. The thing about Arnold's Fried Chicken is that not only are they locally-based, they probably serve the best fried chicken in this country! Their fried chicken, fried to perfection, is goldenly thin & crispy on the outside with some awesome succulent, tender and juicy meat on the inside. You can also expect to always see smoke while you're savouring it! Their Coleslaw is also light and fresh and you can keep on eating it without getting that kind of tired feeling. Their Fries were also great, not soggy or greasy and really complements everything else. As for the Bun, it's also soft and fluffy & sometimes I like to get some chicken meat in the middle & eat it like a burger! So whenever I visit this place, there's always presence of long queue where I have to place an order first then get a waiting number. The wait usually takes around 10-15mins and once the friendly staff directed me to a table, my orders were always instantly sent to me within 1-2mins, served piping hot that it tells you they definitely didn't just leave your food lying around in the kitchen. I love this place so much that I hope they have more accessible locations in town. But nevertheless, their food are worth every bit of traveling and waiting time!

I can't live without my love Chicken. Arnold's Half Spring Chicken Set is awesome.Half Spring Chicken served piping hot with a bun, coleslaw and fries.... Ooh la la... heaven. The chicken is so tender and juicy. You can even chew the bones, so soft. The bun is oily but yummy. Arnold's is a nice place for dining with friends or family. Spending : $5.90 per set (Not expensive)

Conveniently located at Hougang Green Shopping Mall not too far away from my home, I ordered Arnold's two piece chicken set which costs $6.40. Served with fries and coleslaw, the fried chicken was indeed hot and crispy on the outside while fleshy and tender on the inside. What I found lacking in Arnold's chicken, however, was the "eleven herbs and spices" that make KFC's chicken "finger-licking good".In terms of freshness and crispiness, Arnold's chicken certainly has the advantage over other fried chicken. But when it comes to flavor and value for money, I still prefer KFC over Arnold's. Come and try for yourself if you haven't.

My friend bought it for me ,is halal chicken,Last time only paya lebar have,but now hougang also havei don't really like it the skin is really very crispy which i liked it but the chicken is too oily but not much taste they never marinate well i think overall i just rate 5/10
