This coconut-cream coated cake had just the right balance of the fragrant Gula Melaka in both the mousse and the sponge, making it difficult to stop at one slice.The traditional Valrhona Chocolate Logcake (available each xmas) was mediocre and the sparse amount of chocolate pearls did not help to enhance the texture.The Rum and Raisin Log cake was both good and bad. The rum mousse stood out with sufficient rum taste but the raisins were plain and the vanilla custard centre had too much gelatine and became chewier than a marshmallow.

It's X'mas time again and time for this bakery to roll out their goodies! I love all their cakes and pastries! All very unique and nicely baked to perfection! Wish they have more macarons and better macarons but the Hilton macarons currently are the best in Singapore (other than Darcis'). The prices here are pretty expensive but the service and quality is worth the price. You can taste the goodness and the quality of the cakes and pastries here. Love everything here as it changes all the time and it's convenient to get to this place!
