Obscurely located in a furniture shop named Marxx, you will amazed by this cool chillout place. With high clear glass, you can look out onto Orchard Road. Just a small area that can fit maybe 20 people, this is the perfect place to chill out, especially during the afternoons. With the sun shining through, it is like you have been transported out of Singapore, whereby you can leave aside the hustle and bustle of our daily routine lives.Try their wraps. I had the warm chocolate shot with whiskey!

I can’t come to a tea lounge and not drink tea, aye? Whiskey Chocolate sounds like a masculine drink but comes in such a feminine and dainty cup. Love how frilly it looks! Presentation is gimmicky: the waitress lit up the mixture of whiskey+sugar cube+chocolate, and we just sat back and watched it burn. Then pour, stir and drink up! I like this, very strong and potent mix of chocolate and whiskey. There’s also a pack of French tuile wafer which is good for dipping in the hot chocolate. Reminds me of how I dipped biscuits in milo when I was a kid, ha.

Adam in Wonderland ($15.90++) comes with 2 scoops of gelato and 2 slices of Arteastiq’s signature apple cakes. I wanted Champagne Vanilla and Cointreau Bitter Chocolate but they were unavailable =( so had the Ginger Spice Tea and Whisky Cinnamon instead. The former was fantastic, the ice cream version of said tea with a distinct ginger aftertaste, but the latter was… Too weird, too medicine-like. This is one instance when being too exotic doesn’t work.

I don’t have a high standard for apple cakes. So long as it’s not dry, it’s fine. So this is fine =)
