I am a huge chicken rice lover, sangat gemar kepada nasi ayam mereka, dan chilli mereka tak pedas sangat, soup pun berperisa, not like those typical chicken rice soup. Excellent service as well, the abang and pakcik there very friendly! Susah nak dapat tempat makanan yang banyak variety untuk nasi Ayam , really recommend ayam penyet mereka, sedap giler ,their sambal has a mild taste that blends the whole dish perfectly, Tak Spicy sangat, tak sweet sangat. Can't wait to drop by again to try the rest of the dishes soon. There are so many varieties of fried chicken to be eaten these days. Well this stall serves it all in many different styles. Having tried the sambal ayam other stall in Maxwell, this time I opted for the basic set, the Ayam Penyat. The Ayam Penyat dish in this stall consisting of smashed up fried chicken (to make it softer), cucumber and sambal chilli. The chicken was nicely smashed up and makes it easier to eat; when the dish was served the meat was moist without being overly oily and the skin were crispy. The sambal compared to the others was not overly spicy and it suits me well.

This is a new found love. I love eating fried chicken and i love chilli too. So, Ayam Penyet is definitely my kind of dish. The chilli was not as spicy as compared to some of the stalls selling this dish but mild and aromatic. A good choice if you have sensitive stomach like me. The deep fried chicken drumstick was nicely 'penyet' but still moist, and not too oily though not the best i have ever eaten. If you are tired of eating the chinese style chicken rice then maybe this is a good alternative for you.
