Have been for a long time not visiting Sebawang shopping centre. Went basement 1 and found this restaurant with a nice decorated. We ordered pepper teriyaki chicken set. The meal is very tender and with this right amount of pepper. It taste very nice and serve with onion rings and fries. It is really value for money S$9.90. This serves is right for one person per plate. Waiting time was slightly long maybe too many people but we are serve of additional soup which is a good quality service from them.LOL, the surrounding was also well docorated with old fashion styles. Money well spent.

The outlet used to be at the top floor but has since moved down to b1 floor. The system too has changed. Now one pays as you order, before showing you to your table. Prices have increased too. We have Hickory BBQ Chicken ($8.90) with French Fries and Mac & Cheese as sides, Grilled Fish with Herbs ($9.50) with Tasty Rice and Coleslaw as sides, and Seafood Marinara ($9.90) with Cream of Mushroom Soup. Also top up another $5 for Cream of Mushroom and Snapple combo. Overall feel that the servings have reduced. The french fries does not as much seasoning as it used to have. Place very crowded with long queue. At payment, staff remarked need 20 minutes wait for food.

This is my 2nd time having Astons. It was a few years back when i 1st tried Astons at the stall located in a kopitiam in Hougang. Experience was not that good though. However, my wife managed to convince me to give it a try again. Comes with two generous servings of sides dishes, Macaroni with cheese and mashed potatoes. The cheese was very thick, reminds me of the cheese that normally comes with nachos. The rib eye was nicely grilled and tendered. It was quite juicy too! Slightly charred, the fish was quite fresh and the sauce that comes with it had a mild herbal taste which goes nicely with the fish. Overall, it was a good and affordable meal (spent less than $30 for 2) & it does change my opinion on Astons.

Black pepper fish $7.50 (includes 2 side dishes) I picked the onion rings and macaroni and cheese sides. The grilled fish was quite a thin slice and some parts of the edges were slightly charred but fortunately it did not taste awful. The pepper gravy tasted very peppery and it was perhaps a little too strong for my liking The onion rings tasted average. The macaroni and cheese was very rich in flavour and it could get "gelat" after a few mouthfuls. Overall, Astons is a great place to go if you are looking for cheap western fare in a restaurant-like setting. The seats there are worn-out though.

Went for some celebrations and relaxing with bf and his friend at Jurong area but after that we decided to have some dinner. Not sure what we wanted to eat after looking around and decided to dine at sembawang, I just tagged along I ordered the spaghetti which came 1st from all the other order. I wait but it was way too long for the other order than I tempted to eat some slowly before it turns hard and irresistible to eat. It was nice at 1st with the salom and the sauce but not when it turn more cold. Quite nicely presented. Didn't get to picture all the other food as the already started eating soon it was serve and hungry for it. Well. They finished all the serving but for mine still some left as I full and it turn cold. I tried some of the chicken and potatoes, well it is recommendable and worth waiting but obviously not that long especially when there friend around ordering some other food and you are especially hungry. The environment are cosy, quiet and some quee at the door as no service charge. The place is clean and near to the outdoor space for some smoker convienient. The service in term of time to serve should've revised but other than that it alright with no service charge,
