Tucked away in a quiet corner of Dempsey Road, Au Petit Salut was surrounded by lush greenery and one could almost feel at peace with nature when he or she walks around the area. We chose the set menu for brunch, since neither of us could decide on what to have. The escargots were oven baked and very fresh, without any hint of saltiness or staleness whatsoever. For mains, my red wine braised beef cheeks did not disappoint- the tenderness of the beef cheeks brought out the subtle taste of the red wine, and my date was impressed with his oven baked Norwegian mackerel.
The highlight however, was the desserts. The creme brulee, which we both ordered, was so good that we finished every last drop!
