We had a wonderful brunch buffet at Awfully Chocolate. The brunch spread was impressive, with a great variety of dishes, and of course, the desserts were a highlight — especially the chocolate raclette, which was absolutely delicious. The coffee was excellent and complemented the meal perfectly. Our little one enjoyed the yogurt and fresh fruits, which she loved. This restaurant is one of my favorite spots in Singapore. I have been celebrating my birthday here since 2022. At first, the prices may seem a bit high, but considering the quality, it is very reasonable. I highly recommend the steak, truffle fries, crab prawn pasta, and their signature chocolate drink. The staff are all very accommodating and friendly, making each visit enjoyable. The ambiance is comfortable and stylish, perfect for both special occasions and casual meals. We started with the All-Chocolate Cake and honestly, it’s everything the hype promises—rich, fudgy, and not overly sweet. Came over to nine thirty for some desserts after eating lunch with my friends! I have ordered lime juice for drinks and I like the presentation of it. They used this glass jug instead of the normal plastic cup which is used to put ice water.As for the desserts, me and my friend shared this brownie and it is really nice! It is cakey on the outside and quite fudgey in the middle. Very rich in flavor too.Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the food and ambience there. Have been there twice for dinner. Decent western dishes are served here. Quality is very stable. My favorite is the beef (I don't remember the name but there should only be one beef for the main course). And the coconut pandan shake is a must try. It's very "singapore". 😃Needless to say, you can't complete your meal without trying their dessert as everyone knows it's famous for its chocolate. I suggest you going out to take a look of the desserts placed in the open kitchen before you order. You'll know which one to order once you see it. It's like love by the first sight.The cupcake is different from the other cupcake. It's mainly made with choco mouse which is best to serve with other dessert like brownie or apple crumble. Was here with a friend after shopping around at katong 112. Both of us had never tried Awfully Chocolate before so we decided to head there for some small bites. We had truffle fries, brownie and flat white (a kind of latte). And we were very satisfied with the standard of food. The truffle oil is very fragrant and fries are warm where they served. It was Chinese Valentine's day this Tuesday, so I decided to visit this chocolate bistro for a romantic dinner.Soup of the day: Onion SoupMy boyfriend enjoyed this soup but for me, not so much. The chocolate is the same as the one you bought from the AC outlet. What really attract me is the Nine Thirty in Chinese written on the side of the dish. Chocolate is food for the soul and Awfully Chocolate does pretty good soul food. We decided to try out the Awfully Chocolate platter. My god, it was heavenly. The delicious rich chocolate was evident. Awfully Chocolate was not the least stingy with the amount of cocoa that went into baking the delicious brownies. Awfully chocolate started off as a small plain white empty store selling take away chocolatey fudgy cakes coming in only three flavours-plain, rum and raisin and chocolate banana, and they have now expanded its wings into cafes, and sister restaurants, offering a wider variants of chocolatey desserts and other sweets. The white-washed cafe is a 3-in-1 concept: awfully chocolate, mooshi bakes and mooshi bistro, which means we could order different desserts from 3 different (one in the same actually) cafes, whatever the case is, it was good news for us!!We had Hei ice cream which was extremely sinful but I do not regret at all, because it was overwhelming with chocolate, real chocolate!! Accompanied with moist and warm super stacked chocolate cake is best suited for die-hard chocoholics!!! The extremely soft chocolate cake melts in your mouth and its smooth velvety texture leaves you craving for more. Guaranteed to chase away any blues of any sort.We also had the banana cream pie which caught me by surprise with its fragrant banana caramel and amazing blend of flavours and texture. At Awfully Chocolate, it is either the white or black for cupcake - Vanilla or Chocolate. I stored the cupcakes in the fridge and ate it instantly as it was too tempting. However, cupcakes from Awfully Chocolate taste better if you consume it at room temperature with the cream melting. I prefer the white and he is always after the black. One of my favourite and a must have is the butterscotch! However, I just found it a little salty that day. We always want to try it as both of us love CHOCALATE very much!!We both share a single scoop of chocolate ice and a 100g chocolate cake.The cakes tasted nice, but the cake base was very soft to me.But the dark chocolate of the cake tasted rich and creamy.The ice cream tasted the NICE!! There's an Awfully chocolate shop at the cross junction where the new 112@Katong mall is. Decided to walk in for some desserts. It was really crowded. We had to wait about 20 mins for our orders to be served. But throughout the entire waiting time, the lovely ladies had been apologizing to us for the wait. I reckon they should be having a large group order. Anyway, I ordered my usual one scoop ($3.80) for takeout.I still love how the ice cream is not too sweet and easy on the throat.
