Awfully Chocolate

From the name 'Awefully Chocolate', one will definitely know the signature cake is of course, chocolate. And their cakes are specially catered to the palates of chocolate lovers This was my first time trying awfully chocolate. I am a die hard chocolate fan therefore i am excited to try their cakes. I ordered a super stacked chocolate cake which was a layer cake and thicker, richer version of our their Chocolate cake. It is indeed special as there were different kinds of chocolate used for the six inner and outer fudge layers. The cake was really soft and moist with extreme chocolately goodness in it. Although the cake looked really simple and boring, however it tasted really quite good! But for a price of $7.90 for a slice, i felt it was a tad too expensive. Popular French pastries in town, Awfully Chocolate produced superb high-standard recipe with natural ingredients. All their cakes were a simple resolve and put back into cake as pure as possible. At the small sitting spaces stall, the atmosphere was a happy mode. Signature Dark Chocolate Fudge and Crème Brûlée were ordered, I personally liked both. As cake goes, it was actually rich mouthful. Light and moist, chocolate component was just nice and not overly sweet. Talking about Crème Brûlée, it was buttery fantastic. Melted at mouth instantly, the texture was soft ever. The creme brûlée was not fantastic, I wouldn't recommend it! I was expecting more chocolate from this dessert, but I was left disappointed.It is still safer to stick to their cakes and ice creams. The chocolate flourless cake is very rich and every chocolate lover's dream. The 'hei' ice cream is amazing too, it just melts in your mouth and is heavenly. I had the super stacked cake and their signature "hei" chocolate ice cream for dessert. i have always love their dark chocolate ice cream because of how smooth the texture is and most importantly, it is not sweet. the super stacked cake is also one of my favorite and is sold by per gram. it is thick and heavy and u tends to enjoy it for the first few bites but struggle to finish it due to its heaviness in chocolate. good to share among two people though so u can order more stuff from there. the cupcakes sold there is not bad too. …Read More
