Initially my friend and I headed out to visit Jollibee, but was faced with an extremely long line of queue. It was a tough and dry chicken discovery, there weren't any sauce and thus the only thing that I could marinate my meat with was my saliva. But it wasn't enough, so I didn't enjoy this $7.50 chicken and had to 'kop' (steal in a nice way) my friend's chilli to make it less dry, only to be thoroughly freaked out because of the overpowering chilli that set my mouth on fire. In translation this is supposed to be boneless chicken Empar Penyet - $7.50
This is my friend's plate of Empar Penyet, we both had no idea what the correct translation of these indonesian wordings are, we tried to get the explanation of the service crew but apparently her english was really basic so she couldn't understand our question of what's actually in the dish. Anyway, my friend's dish was a more enjoyable one. Teh Botol Sosro - $2.50
