I recently had dinner at Baba Chews and was really impressed by how they blend traditional Singaporean flavors with modern twists. The grilled Assam Halibut Risotto was rich and flavorful, with a nice tang from the Assam marinade that kept things interesting. I also loved the Kueh Pie Tee, it was crispy and light with just the right mix of fresh fillings, it felt like a nostalgic bite with a fresh, modern touch. I started with the Kueh Pie Tee and it was the perfect opener — crisp little cups filled with savoury-sweet shredded turnip and topped with prawn. The texture was spot-on, and the flavours felt like a modern take on tradition. The Nyonya Fried Rice really stood out too — wok hei was strong, and it came loaded with sambal, vegetables, and a satisfying mix of textures. wah let me tell u their chilli crab cake was fire because of how crispy it is. their cheesesteak sandwich and the fish and chips were also very good. overall the service not bad and the place is quite nice. would go back again as the price is no overly charged.…查看更多

Stylish spot in Katong with a modern Peranakan vibe. The Ayam Buah Keluak and Hyogo Oysters were creative and delicious. The satays were tender and packed with flavour. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt relaxed yet classy. Perfect for dinner dates. Prices are reasonable for the quality.
