During evening time, at around 7pm, the breads from Bakery Point will normally be sold at a promotional price of $1 each. Taking advantage of the offer, I decided to buy a bread back for breakfast the next day. I got this cheesy sausage bun at $1.The bread is quite fluffy which I like as dense breads can sometimes get too cloying or heavy after eating too much of it. The cheese on top of the bread is also sufficient to give the bread a saltish cheesy taste. The sausage used was not too nice though, I find it too tough to bite. Otherwise, it is quite a nice bread to have. 繼續閱讀

Nowadays, there are many bakery stalls starting to sell Golden Sands Bun. I walked pass this Bakery Point at Bukit Batok MRT and they were having promotion for this new bun launch. The promotional price was $1.20.The Sands Bun was steaming hot when I bought, I think it was just out of the oven. The Sands Bun had a mild buttery aroma. The texture of the bun was like those Breadtalk or Four Leaves, stiffer and less fluffy than Bakers Talent. I was disappointed that the Golden Sands filling was very little. I could not taste the salted egg yolk, only salty custard. Overall, I still prefer the price and taste of Golden Sands Bun from Bakers Talent. 繼續閱讀

hongkong sandwich $1.60Bought a hk sandwich for teabreak. There were 3 slices of halved bread sandwiched together. the center fillings consisted of a very thin spread of egg mayo. The other 2 sides consisted of ham and cheese. The skin of the bread was crisp texture but it was not bad. The bread was not soggy too as the egg mayo was quite dry and minimal. They seem to be more "famous" for their buns with many different types of assorted fillings so perhaps I'll try them the next time. 繼續閱讀

When every bun costs S$1.00 after 9pm, the typical Singaporean like us will fasten our footsteps and buy more than what we are supposed to. Breads have nothing special in particular and of average standards as compared to its competitors. Outlook looks quite pretty decent and close to what the market is offering. These buns are airy light and those comes with fillings has minimal amount wrapped up in the buns. Overall, it is still worth the bite during its promotional seasons. 繼續閱讀
