Previously known as Baker’s Inn, Bakerzin started out in 1998 as a modest patisserie located off Sembawang Road, Singapore, dealing with wholesale orders and supplying French bread and pastries to restaurants and hotels. During this time, founder of Bakerzin, Daniel Tay, and his team of passionate bakers began experimenting and conjuring new and indulgent creations. Sweet Pleasure - $6.90A perfect start to tea break is this hazelnut cake which topped off with a chocolate layer and a sweet cherry. It has some kind of crunched biscuits and a few hazelnuts in the bottom layers of the cake which makes it so crunchy and tasty! A must-try cake! 繼續閱讀

Discovered this new outlet of Bakerzin by accident which serves western favourites like pastas and pies in addition to their popular brownies, cheesecakes, macarons etc. Was delighted to find their limited edition CNY gift boxes of pineapple tarts in various form here as stocks were running low at their downtown outlets in Paragon and Suntec. The 20pc gift box at $19.80 is great as CNY presents for house visits, or for sharing among guests. However I would prefer a bigger proportion of pineapple filling in relation to the pastry crust of these tarts shaped liked ingots. Each box comes with a scratch card with a 4D lucky no. 繼續閱讀
