On cold days, I always liked having a soupy lunch as it can help to warm me up and somehow it is more comforting on the tummy as well. I ordered the ban mian from this stall. I think quite a lot of people think the same way as I do because this stall is quite popular amongst the other stalls. The serving of ban mian is quite a lot, there are minced meat, vegetables, some bits of mushrooms and an egg. I asked the auntie not to put the ikan bilis and fried onions, but if you like them, you can choose to leave it as the auntie will add it to the ban mian by default. The noodles are not too soggy or overcooked so it is tasty in that it is not too soft. I also find the chilli dip to be really appetising as it is slightly sour. It was great with the minced meat as the meat is rather salty. Overall, it is quite nice and worth buying if you want to eat ban mian.

Ban Mian is one of my favorite local comfort foods, and on a cold rainy day, what could be better than a bowl of this delicious, hot soup? Some stalls under cook the ban mian, making the noodles hard and lumpy, however, i was pleasantly surprized to find my ban mian cooked just the way i liked it- soft and smooth! The soup was tasty, and i loved the fried ikan bilis that added a touch of saltiness to the soup.
