Was craving for some simple snacks when visited this thai food restaurant and bought their populat fried chicken wings to try. Was rather disappointed by the small portion served to me. However taste was not too bad and the chicken meat was marinated till very flavourful before deep fried. Chicken meat is also juicy and easy to chew. For less than $15 I spent, is quite reasonable. Restaurant is cosy and service is friendly too.Read More

Tod Mun Goong $9.904 pieces of prawn cakes wrapped around lemon grass. There was no lemon grass fragrance but the prawn cakes were deep-fried to golden brown and had a good exterior texture. The bread crumbs were crisp and not soggy. The taste of the prawn cakes were nothign to rave about though.vermicelli salad with seafoodthe dressing was too sour for my liking but it had a refreshing taste. seafood were not that fresh.service was slow and unattentive :(Read More

Went for thai food yet again (and wondering why my friends like thai food so much)Appetizer was good, especially when you have a hungry stomach. Mango strips and spice complement perfectlySoup is good as well (better than average tom yum), but could have more stuff inside and the portion can be biggerThis is nice and i like the squid which complements the sauce. But the prawn tastes a little dry and they can be bigger in size.Read More

Ate at Bangkok Jam some time ago, at their Great World City branch! I also went to their Plaza Singapura branch the other day, hahaha. Anyway, my favourite was the Banana Tempura dessert! *.*Heard quite a bit of rave for these chicken wings. Not bad, but a tad too little meat I feel!Banana TempuraIt wasn't very soggy as it looks. Mix the warm Banana with the cold ice cream, and you'll get the perfect combination! For full review and more photos, please visit http://www.iisjong.com/2013/04/bangkok-jam.htmlRead More

Decided to have something Thai for dinner so my friends and I head over to Great World City's Bangkok Jam to have something spicy. I decided to skip my usual favorite, Tom Yum Soup to something that I don't usually order - Phad Thai. Heard from some friends that they serve really good Phai Thai so I guess it's doesn't harm to try. I was pleased with my food when it was served to me as it smell really good and looks appetizing. The ingredients used is fresh and I like the crunchiness of the prawns. It tasted quite sweet though for me. Portion was okay, though it could slightly be a bit more for the price I was paying. It is a satisfying dinner after all. Read More

Went back for their mango sticky rice and it was so awesome! really resembled the mango sticky rice i enjoyed in Thailand! Love that their sticky rice was so well made and definitely was a bliss eating it! The mango was sweet and tangy as well! Add that with the coconut milk drizzled on top!! Heaven in a plate! So awesome! Will definitely come back for their food as soon as possibleRead More

Seriously a must try when visiting this restaurant! the soft yet crispy dough with the banana and the ice cream on top creates an explosion of flavors in your mouth! However, dont idle for too long as it is best eaten when it is being served! The batter for the tempura really made the banana crispy and lovely! Something like banana fritters, but even better! Love the ice cream as well! Sinful but worth it!Read More

Was at Great World City on christmas eve and most of the restaurants are quite packed on the first level so we went to bangkok jam once again since i have been here twice already. Ordered the chicken pad thai and the portion was rather big but when the time that they served my food, it was only slightly warm. Ordered a bowl of tom yam soup too but i feel that the portion of it was rather small, but love the prawns in it. Big and juicy and really fresh prawns. Service was also not bad especially the lady who was decked in black which i assume its the manager, she was very friendly and always smiling. Read More

I'm not a thai food fans,i came here with friend cause read review that the food was nice so decided to come for a try We had tom yum kway tiao soup which I found it a little too sweetBut i must say they were very generous with the ingredients thoughinside full of seafood & mushrooms.chicken wing -they only serve the wing portion & to make it even easier to eat, they cut into half. It was served with dried chilli, cashew nuts & some fried garlic. The food wasn’t as great as I expected though.but taste ok overall i rate 6/10Read More

today marks the 2nd visit to bangkok jam for me. ordered tom yam soup, kang kong, thai-spiced wings, fish cakes! waited a while for the food to be served. First up was the thai-spiced wings, they were quite nice and crispy too. Next was the fish cakes, to me it was quite normal. I have had better ones elsewhere. Then the kangkong and tom yam soup came, I love the tom yam soup! it was served piping hot! the kangkong was a bit too spicy for me to handle though. Overall i really enjoyed my dinner. The food was good, the pricing are reasonable. Would definitely be back again soon! But one thing is that i hope that they can improved on their service. Sometimes it can be a bit hard to get their attention but maybe because it was during dinner time and that they are kind of busy. Read More
